There is a thread over at Bungie.net that can be found here that supports an independent playlist dedicated to custom maps made by Forgehub! Lets give it some support and see if we can help the cause!

[edit]: Be sure to leave a comment to keep the thread at the top of the discussion, no spamming though. Leave smart comments please! We're supposed to be a great community, lets show them!

    119 now :)
and it looks like its doing very well,
Maybe since bungie knows us quite well they will take this into consideration.
Although, we would have to pick TS Maps i think. And not like any mini games and such

    120. And some people are right. it would take some time to find out which maps are balanced. but i think that the FH could help out bungie with that, to make it easier for them

Lets try to leave some comments on Bungie.net so it receives more attention over there. I'd like to avoid spam comments if at all possible. Let's post smart.

yeah i agree. i know everyone is voting, but not leaving a comment. if a comment is left by all of us, then it will get more attention as DTL said

wow i had never even thought of that. that is a great idea, and i'm sure that people will love it. with all of our revolutional forging ideas, its like having a brand-new halo map pack (that is bigger than normal ones) for everyone to play.

I'm thinking there would be a Team slayer bracket, and maybe a larger, maybe 6v6 bracket. Team slayer would be better. and every month or so, alternate with newer or more popular forgehub maps.

it would definetly give me a chance to get to play and figure out what maps i like the most, sometimes i have trouble finding a party that wants to do that, so i approve!

The maps would have to be unbreakable or nearly unbreakable though.

Just featured? that would be alright though. I wish I could sign but I received a painful dose of banhammer that I can't recover.

It's a great idea, and with that 'tentative' statement from Shiska about customs being implemented, it could actually be doable. I threw in my two cents.

Actually, now that I think about it, it may not be doable. The MLG customs that are in rotation do not implement the budget glitch. If they made us adhere to that, it would eliminate the majority of the Foundry featured maps. Still, there's lots more cool stuff to choose from here, like the more old school stuff from the beginnings of FH (Conquest on Cellars would still work, though.).

Maps with the Fuel Rod Cannon, flame grenades, and the sentinal beam would have to be left out, they cause latency problems in matchmaking.

This idea has been done before. But this changes into something that could possibly work.

So this possibility is far off in the distance, but still possible. It sounds as though something more epic is coming in the near future.

A staff or something should write and post an official ForgeHub playlist plea.
Anyways, I would expect maybe 10 maps for this playlist.
