This is my first time posting on FH so i apologize in advance for anything im aboust to screw up =] Hex is a symmetrical map mostly used for Team Slayer and FFA. There are half hexagonal walways on each side with a sniper tower in the rear of both bases. there is many different paths through the map and many hiding spots for stealhty assassinations. Overall it took me about 6 hours to make and much of the map is interlocked. Most of the boxers are turneed upside-down for a cleaner look and the regular foundry bases are blocked off cleanly. I used mostly MLG Weapons except the Shottys. They are as follows: 10 BRs Scattered around evenly 2 Carbines 2 Snipers (1 clip, 90 sec) 1 Mauler 1 Rocket Launcher 2 Shotguns Overview of the map The bases. All interlocked. The neutral tower. The Red base. Rocket spawn Red sniper tower Blue sniper tower Sniper spawn. Same on the other side Teleporter to sniper tower. Veiw from red sniper tower. View from blue sniper tower. looks very cool but could use some more cover/objects on the way back. But for your first post its really good. good job
i agree with zto, needs more cover if it is for over 2v2 gametypes, otherwize its fine. and all that interlocking-its very pretty..... =)
this map was made very nicely, there is interlocking and everything is pretty smooth, nothing was done wrong. for your first map, very good.
Spoiler i think the blue sniper tower looks a lot more safer than the reds and also you could just camp in that one room
pretty good but i would make a way to WALk to the tower not a tele and maybe make the bases stand out more because there not really much of a base at the moment but i like the curve in the bridge and i think this is great and would be fun for MLG.
its impossible to spawn back there in a 2 team game any way and you cant shoot from out there but very good advice. ill see what i can do about it.
+rep for a correct first post this map is nearly perfect nearly i do think you need some cover on the outskirts of the central object and clean up the blocking of foundry but with all that in mind i still give it a 4.5/5
this is an amazing map. i played it 4v4 MLG TS thinking the towers would be way too overpowering and there would not be enough cover. i was wrong man. +rep for an amazing experince. I'll keep a look out for your next maps!
I'm going to quote the first line of the post when I finally get my maps up on FH... Anyways, 4/5 defiantly needs more cover on the open sides, but all in all a good over all map.
This map looks well designed, and the interlocking is pretty good. Seems a bit open, the sniper might be overpowered, but I think its fine. The map is pretty symetric, it looks a little off but that's ok. Good job, 4/5.
This is pretty good, but I'd add some things on the outer edges of the big platform. There just doesn't seem to be a lot there.
This is a very good job for your first map, congrats. Everything looks clean and well interlocked, this map would be great on 2v2 or KOTH! 5/5, Good Job!

After I played around on it more I noticed something you should fix. You can get out of one Sniper Tower but not the other. One tower you can jump out of the other (window panel one) you cant. The game play would benefit greatly if both sniper towers were equal.
