its very good, though the do use the same images over and over...too bad theres so much good stuff that nobody sees

 

Don't sleep on this game, it's amazing!

I'm about to start my third playthrough also, but with the new H3 maps coming out soon I dont know when I will actually play again.

And to whoever that was: what are you talking about? The dialogue is one of the best parts of the game! It's what sets it apart from other RPG's and makes you actually feel like you ARE your character.

This game rocks.

I agree with TDF about the glitches, I had a MAJOR one my first time through...
Let's just say it was on Virmire, when you have to make a major CHOICE...
and due to the glitch i was forced to choose the really lame one. It sucked.

 

I would love it! But I do not make money that quickly, so I almost never get games. Only the greatest games I know I will play for months on end, and Mass Effect may make that list.

 

I love this game, I can't wait to play it since I returned it after Thanksgiving weekend. I have a feeling it'll just be a Christmas gift now, especially since I'll be playing the new Halo 3 maps quite soon, and there are only 2 weeks til Christmas.

 

My Credits on Mass Effect are maxed out, i have all specter gear, i play with either Wrex, Liara, or Garrus in my party..and i screwed the alien. Oh ya, Mass Effect ROCKS! im in the mid 40's level wise, and im still looking for the "Shifty looking cow"" has anyone seen it?

havent played in a while since the new maps, but this game rules.

on my next playthrough im going to beat in on hardcore and reach level 60

after that i plan on playing through again with one of the tech classes

orly... hahah thats funny... kinda pointless though since money becomes completely useless in this game. i have everything i want and i have 9,999,999 credits and nothing to spend it on..

 

I've never seen you playing Mass Effect, Titmar. Actually, I've never seen anyone on the FH Community GT playing anything besides GHIII, CoD4, Rock Band, and Carcassone. Weird.

 

Yea I haven't played it since the new maps came out. I actually beat the game like the first week i had it and then I beat it again right afterwards so I am kinda letting it chill for a bit.

 

lolz, yea..same, after you hit lvl 45-50, the game just becomes to easy, unless you want to go it on Hardcore mode..hardcore...for some reason i always get a strange sexual desire whenever i hear that word.. :/

 

Well if you use your same character to go through again in Hardcore and Insane modes, i hear its pretty easy. My guy just basically dominates everything, I hardly even have to think about any strategy anymore. I'll probably do a run through again on hardcore mode pretty soon. It hardly takes anytime to beat the game at all if you do only story missions.

 

Pretty sweet game... but a little bit too short... and although you can do other stuff rather then just having one set campaign.. the other stuff you can do isnt very exciting... though i like how you can be a **** to everybody :squirrel_rocking:

Mass Effect=my favorite game EVER!! i'm in love with this game. i've been doing all the side quests and after more than 23 hours i'm still on my first play through. on my second i'm just gonna stick to the story line.

 

so is this a must get game or not?

 

They're making 2 more, so I wouldn't really be worried about the story line being short. They also said that they are going to release DLC expansions for it, similar to Oblivion.

Probably one of the best RPG's ever, IMO. I hate every thing about all of the Eastern, turn-based RPG's. Western developers actually innovate some, and don't recycle the same anime-laden bull **** over and over again.

 

Exactly, once you get the Specter weapons and max your weapon level, you basically rape every thing.

i felt that garrick was too sucky actually. i wanted someone with 'tech' but me being a soldier and biotic mix and having ashley on the team, the only person who had any decent fighting was garrick, and he would run into the middle, get cut down, respawn, get cut down....so i had to use the big dude i forget his name lol
