Gamertag: redrubberducky Name: Steven Brown Email: b27342@gmail.com About: Hello, my name is Steven, and I enjoy making cool forge maps. I specialize in making maps outside of the regular playing area, as well as getting out of every map in theater mode. I enjoy finding bugs in campaign, custom games, forge, and theater mode. If you would like to know how to get out of any map, please send me a message (not FR). Map Name: Showdown (Click to download) Map Variant: Team Slayer Description: This map is ideal for small teams who like a lot of action. This map is two small closed off arenas. It's two sections are, the light side and the dark side. These two sides allow the large group to break in half when the game gets more people. This map is also ideal for clan meetings, as people can stay in a large group without the annoyances of the map and lag from playing. You can have two large battles at the same time. This game can be played on any team match, or infection match. This map currently does not support objective games, but however depending on the demand for them, in the future it may be included. People who choose to change from the four teams to a fifth or sixth will be killed immediately to prevent cheating. Images: The light side - Enemy fire The light side - Overview The dark side - Close combat will ensue Afterthoughts: If this map becomes a success, I will update it to include objective asymmetrical games. Please post comments about the map, tell me what you like, and what you dislike. Please rate my map if you like it.
This was already released as the "Blue Room" and the "Black Room," look for them on bungie, they're quite popular.
I'm sorry, but there is nothing original or even interesting about this map. You may be amazingly talented at getting out of maps, but then there's the "so what?" How does that benefit other gamers? If you've got talents, and you're here at ForgeHub.com, why don't you use those talents to create something truly enjoyable for everyone? Besides, this map looks like it took little if any work (other than getting there and placing spawns). However, I will say the switching teams protection idea is a good one. Work on it, and show the world it again later, with some originality and creativity to it.
