Apex MLG Symmetrical Map Welcome to my map Apex. It's actually a version 2 of a map I made called Pinnacle, but I found out the name was taken, so I renamed it Apex. Apex means climax of action which is exactly what you'll find on this map. Apex goes away from feeling like just another Onslaught looking MLG map and really brings some action to the table. Changes from the old version: -3 More Sniper towers. -4 More Plasma grenades. -Walls added to bases. -Door in middle removed. -Wall on green side geomerged. -One new layer added to all barriers. -New aestethic feature on the bases. All MLG gametypes except FFA work. Red, Green, Blue, Yellow and Middle. Red and Blue are the starting bases. Green houses the Mauler, Yellow houses 1 of 2 snipers. The second sniper is in the middle. Finally, Yellow also has a rocket in the lower section. Overview: Bases: Yellow: Yellow houses both the rockets and a sniper that spawns later on in the game. It is a very action packed area that is great for snipers and open range fights. Green: Green is a very tight area that includes a mauler. It's a usefull flag route and can provide some decent cover. Middle: Middle that connects the two bases. It is fairly open and simple but great plays can be made around the walls. (Note: Door under the sniper was removed.) mabye im lagging, but the pics are REALLY Big. but from what i see, the map looks good. nice interlocking and stuff. 4/5
This map looks very well made, the cover is well placed, and the overall design is good. It feels a lot like some of the well known MLG maps like Hype, with the center being the mainly contested area. Good work, 4/5.
this map looks ver y well made awsome interlocking im dling one thing you would want to change is on foundry ther are usual only carbines br's and 1 mauler i would take out rockets and at least 1 sniper to many powerweaps for mlg foundry
I Like It Very Original Center Piece Mabye You Could Replace The Center Sniper With Another Gun Or Power-Up Because As Soon As You Get It You Have To Rush To High Ground To Use It.
It looks nice, but I would cut the rokit lawnchair and one of the snipes. I like your geometry on your map and I just think you should clean up a couple of things. 4/5
looks nice, it has good interlocking and a cool layout, i think if you geomerged boxes into the ground, there could be more ways to get up to the main (center) platform/.
4/5 very good interlocking but you should you use something other than barricades for the bridge to yellow base.(I wonder who the elite is lol) Note: the elite was me
the map looks really good and there is great interlocking but the only problem i have is that there are too many brs on the map, at the most you want 6 after that its unnecessary
The middle isnt geo merged because I wanted it to feel seperate from the bottom at points. Merging walls into the bridges looks weird. I may change the power weapons in my next version. And finally once you get the middle sniper, a good plan is to retreat to your base. And the BR's are on longer respawn timers than the normal BR timers for MLG maps.. usually its 10 secs, mines 30 secs.
hmm interesting interlocking designs i like the boxes on the edges interlocked with the walls, it give the bases a nice look the rest of the map could be neater but who cares 4.5/5 cleverly interlocked
The map is epic, I see a few problems with game play though, but the maps interlocking,geo-merging, and spawn was really great. 4/5
