it's just the angle of the door reflecting the light in that door-halway thing. I've done it with a box.

 

i can barely see it, but its like 1 milimeter by 1 milimeter. i have to click on it and go to bungie.net to see the full picture. its pretty good though.

lolz, i've seen this in some map before... although i dont know how it is done. any of you have any idea of how this happened? i would like to know for future references...
