Maps are stored in hardrive. And to help out for later times, don't move your Xbox while a games in it. My friends learned that the hard way. I had to bring my disc over to him so he could get his Orpheus.
I would just try to take better care of my disc. You could probably use disc cleaner and it would be fine, but you should probably go to blockbuster.
The banana peel method has the exact same concept. Fill in the minor scratches so that the laser does not read that the disk is scratched. Neither methods provide results that make the disk work. Lost info on the disk where it has been scratched is lost. I still laugh at the people who try these things.
Yea so I'm pretty much going to try Blockbuster today and if they wont clean for free then I'll just get a new disc. But If I get a new disc will everything be on it like my maps and the ones I've made/saved?
you run no risk of losing maps, games, profiles or any other info as all of these are stored on the hard drive. it doesnt matter what disk you use as long as you have the same hard drive. hope this helped
I actually wash my disks in soapy water, yes it sounds crazy, though it works! Just be careful, anyways maps are stored on HD
