 So true! I might download like, one or two songs, instead of wasting 30 dollars on a cd that half the songs on it suck
I'm a hardcore pirate (and not just the online type), but I do what I can to support the people who I take from. Like, if I get my filthy pirate hands on some music, and I love the music, I'm likely to buy a hard copy of the content later. In other words, I don't really support piracy, but I do it regardless. It's one of those "do as I say, not as I do" things.
I listen to a lot of indie artists, so I buy all their music. That's the only thing I don't pirate. Everything else, I do pirate.
i dont do it, i pay and get good quality with out any worrys of viruses. Also i dont watch porn. i think its a disgrace to watch it while i am or am not dating.
Ummm.......butt pirate? Anywho, anyone who reads this thread should watch the South Park episode about illegal downloading, classic. I am probably about a couple thousand deep in software. have I spent a penny? No. Sure I buy some stuff like games that I really want or like but paying 300$ for Photoshop is just ridiculous. PS. Who downloads porn.... come on.
I pirate on the occasion that the thing I'm trying to get is so useful, but not worth the trouble buying. As for music piracy, I never want a full CD of songs, just one or two nice songs that I like. It's not worth the tag price to buy a whole CD just for one or two songs, so pirating in that sense is more practical. However, I know that no one is going to work and slave over a program just to distribute it for free, so I usually just download freeware instead.
DLing illegally is not morally right. However, paying ten bucks to go see a crappy movie sucks big ones.
