Forge Hub, I present to you... Pyramid Description: Pyramid is a map made in foundry by Jack xw. It's a symmetrical map thats offers fairness to both teams when capturing hills. The pyramid in the middle of the level is not just an outside feature to the map, you can also venture inside the middle of the pyramid to provide cover from enemies or to capture one of the hills that appear inside. At the top of the pyramid is a pallet, most new players think nothing is under it but just hit it a couple a times and see what pops up . Pick your paths carefully in this map, you never know who's watching you. The game type, Tombs (King of the hill), supports it. 6-12 players recommended. Download it: Map Download again if you already did because its the new version with more weapons, etc. Game "Tombs" ^^ King of the Hill game variant 250 points to win No radar Screenshots: Pyramid View http://imageshack.us"] Top View http://imageshack.us"] Below bridge http://imageshack.us"] Top of Pyramid http://imageshack.us"] Pallet on top of pyramid http://imageshack.us"] What happens when you break it.. Looks pretty good, good concept, but it could use a bit of interlocking and just better positioning, but that's from looking at the screenshots. But otherwise, good map, old friend!
looks like an interesting map. i personally had an idea of a pyramid, but that was an interesting idea to have it against the wall. il try it out. thanks!
Does this support other game variants? I don't see any reason why I wouldn't want to bomb the pyramid or carry a flag out of it.
Thanks for the replies. And I'm working on getting other gametypes for it. I'm still editing the map for some small changes. Update: New version to download for it. I put grenades, more spawns and weapons and man cannons in the corners.
I was hoping this would be on something other than Foundry when I saw the map, guess that would be too good to be true. Looks pretty good, I'm not sure how this would play out in KotH though. Seems like it would be a long walk to get to the next hill point and teams who are already near it would easily get a 10-20 second headstart before any action came their way. Nice work though.
Thanks for the reply. I tried making it on standoff but once I went into scenery I saw only 8 open boxes nothing else to build it with so I decided to go with foundry :\ I also see where your coming from with the KotH comment, but imo I think its pretty fair either way and good gameplay.
