Debate Death Penalty - Right or Wrong?

i personally believe our justice system is too easy.
the punishment for the worst crimes is getting free food, clothes, beds
and the rapes and such arnt all truth, just a fiction to scare people

 

I do not think it is right to kill someone to save money.

Cost money to keep the rapists in jail so i say wrangle them up and use some cheap M16 rounds to exterminate the wrong-doers

They are kept from the public. That is the idea behind prison

As true as it is that bullets are cheap some people will complain its barbaric to use firing squads or thats bullets are in humane but really isn't the point of execution to not only remove a threat but to show the consequences of taking anouther humans life. I think execution is acceptible and that we should be doing what Texas is doing and put a exspress lane on death row for serial murderers. My state Is Nashua New Hampshire and our execution method is still hanging and we still use it : ] its cheap and it IS humane if done correctly as proven in the execution of Sadam Husaine. Criminals need to see consequences for the action by example plus prisons are filled with murderers willing to keep on killing even while they are incarssarated.

 

I am and always have been the pro death penalty, however, even though I am pro death penalty, I probably would not be willing to pull the switch or push the button. I do not think that this makes me a hypocrit. Please bear with me while I explain

As I stated, I am pro death penalty. I am not, however, pro death penalty as an act of revenge or retribution. I believe that in certain instances it does act as a deterrent to crime and can save lives.

I realize that some people have no respect for life, not even their own, and would commit violent acts no matter what the penalty. I also realize that some people get caught up in the heat of passion and don't think about the consequences of their actions. There are people, however, that do care about themselves even if they don't care about others and the only thing that stops them from commiting certain crimes is the idea that they might, if caught, be executed. They may not have a conscience, they may not care about the harm they do others, they may not believe in or care about an afterlife but, they do care about their own skin and they want to protect themselves from harm. Many of these people don't care if they go to prison but they do want to live. Many of them while in prison would murder other prisoners or guards but don't because they don't want to turn their life sentence into a death sentence. If the death penalty saves even one or two innocent lives, I believe that it is worth having

but in some cases i feel for people that done a crime so bad i feel the death penalty is too goo for them like an easy way out, some should rott in jail, for example the An Austrian man kept his daughter in the basement of their home for 24 years. During that time, he had a sexual relationship with her that produced " at least six children said and i quote

if firing squads were issued, they would become different men.

and as a general statement over this topic, it sucks that this penelty is needed at all, and that the world needs a system to "Scare the criminals"

the system should be good enough that a justice system wouldn't be needed. thats a crazy idealist image, but still wanted it out there.

 

Nobody would feel the same after killing someone, whether you regret it or not.
Even if it was an accident, I'd probably feel worse if it was, because the death would be for no reason.

He means by what means would said detainee come about his death.

I think that the Death Penalty is a cruel and disgusting punishment but there is absolutely no way around it. The jails of the world are all overflowing with criminals like rapists and murderers. In my opinion people who have knowingly murdered some one should die, rapists and people who have intent to murder should be left to rot in jail, and thieves should be loaded with a hefty fine.

The death penalty although necessary should still be somewhat humane, death by lethal injection is my personal opinion of humane. Criminals in jail or prison should not be given any luxuries other than food, water and the choice of death. As for thieves I believe their payment should be as big as their crime. Of course we are talking money unlike in the old days where thieves would have their hands lopped off.

Maybe I went way off-topic but I was typing' and that's how I feel.

 

yea we need Bat-Man. lol just kidding but I think we should go with the quote "what comes around goes around" sure its kinda bad but thats my point of veiw.
