Well I noticed, that for some reason when I merge to objects (Namely the Large Box's on Foundry) theres a bump at the point were they overlap. They are both level on the same ground and everything, so why is it doing this?

Also, when I flipped an open box upside down, so the "Flat surface" was showing, went to geomerg it, but it refused to go under the floor. I followed the instructions in the tutorial on the site but nothing happened. It merges with walls and all, but not the floor.

I hate that. I try to merge at angle so it is a curved hill.

Ignore Nemi, he's an asain ;)
    Don't kill meh D=

Anyway, for your problem. No matter how smooth your interlocking, their will always be minimal bumps. These will not affect gameplay however, since the bump is almost insignificant.

As for the geomerging, when you do that, you are pushing mass into mass. A open box however, has no mass inside of it, hence, it will not merge as easy. I found that if you merge open boxes away from the center grate, it is easier, but results are hardly perfect.

I still have problems merging all the time. I just figured out how to do the moveable object merge today. So hooray!

They're still 2 different objects, when you walk over them, interlocked or not, it'll have a bump. If its interlocked or placed at an angle to another box, then it'll still have a bump but since the angle you're walking on changes, the bump wont be noticed.

as long as you get good braces, and stay away from the mid you should be fine
try using tele's as braces, they work real well

    Its spelled spelled, not spelt.

On a happier note, whatever you're trying to interlock must be completely even. If you're not geo-merging this means, you must have all of the bottom face of the immovable object evenly on the ground. If you are sticking an immovable object against a wall, it might be set on an angle by a smidge and will cause bumps. Tell me if you still need help.

    Code:
    irony 1 |ˈīrənē; ˈiərnē|
    noun ( pl. -nies)
the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect : “Don't go overboard with the gratitude,” he rejoined with heavy irony. See note at wit .
    • a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result : [with clause ] the irony is that I thought he could help me.
    • (also dramatic or tragic irony) a literary technique, originally used in Greek tragedy, by which the full significance of a character's words or actions are clear to the audience or reader although unknown to the character.

    Nice one.

Seriously, I'm going to let all the above spam slide, but any beyond this point, will be an indefinite infraction.

It's rather disappointing seeing all these members, who have been around for quite some time, going compleeeeetely off-topic.

    <3 you guys, but cmon...

Holy Crap, Nemi is asian? That explains his post count. Anyway, I've noticed this problem alot, but I don't understand how a little tiny bump really affects gameplay.
