Description: * (Please excuse my grammar, I'm Dutch ) SkyBase Isolation v1 is an Infection map on Isolation with a floating base above the sniper area. The base has 3 turrets (1 in the center, 2 on the sides) + battle rifles + sniper rifles + brute shots. The zombies will have a VERY hard time to kill a human or to get on top of the base. But if you watch the YouTube Video you will see that there are ways for the zombies to dominate. Zombies are a little bit faster and will experience little less gravity than humans. 12+ players will provide the best experience. Games will last for 15+ minutes. The map got tested for a week to create a perfect balanced infection map. These combinations of gameplay elements and testing will provide a great Halo 3 infection experience. I discovered the concept myself. Alot of other floating bases are out there, but I'm sure this is one of the best. Spend alot of time on it: 6-8 hours building. Testing and improving took me a week. Only perfection was good enough for me. The actual reason why I created this map is because of all the freakin *** bad maps people are creating. I wanted to show that it isn't that hard and started creating my first serious map: SkyBase! It's my only serious map aswell, cause I'm also playing Halo 3 just to be good at the game: I'm one of the top-players of my country so I'm not an active Forger. But I'm planning to create another Forge map in the future and maybe even try to join the guilders .
Re: SkyBase Isolation v1 - Infection Map by Xorta I have this map and it is very good. The only problem is that there are no ways to get back up as a human. What if a zombie lunges up and the only way to survive is to jump off?

Re: SkyBase Isolation v1 - Infection Map by Xorta It's extremely difficult for a zombie to get on top of the base if the humans play smart. IF a zombie actually get on top of the base, then the reward should be perfect: a human getting killed or falling off the base!

Re: SkyBase Isolation v1 - Infection Map by Xorta - (YouTube Video!) This is actually a thoroughly impressive map. At first I was like, "Awesome. The 121,312,423,634,958 floating base map created...since yesterday." But, in reality, this one was well thought-out and planned. The different ways for zombies to get into the well-defended (but not impenetrable) base is a nice touch. It's a different idea, to be sure, since the floating base is less of a base and more of a dangerous platform to fend off brain-feeding, tree-jumping, sword-lunging zombies. It gets my highest approval. Good replay value, as well.
