I felt it was necessary to remake the classic. I got permission from Gravedigger 5454 to remake his classic, Fire Lane, and I made it. It has a few twists. First of all every two minutes will automatically explode. Edit: In the new version they no longer explode. The game works much better now without it. Second, there are a few more spawn points, but it has the same pattern. Third. It's harder to win. Much harder. This time I might ignore the instant respawn timing suggestion, and make it like 3 seconds. It's a much longer version. I am happy to of remade this. Be aware it's not perfect, and I will most certainly redo it from scratch, for using foundry's default non-bumpy floor, and for plain Asthetics. For now, I present to you, Fire Lane 2.1! One last note. The panorama is an old pic, but it basically shows the layout, the floor is the only thing changed. Strategy: The fusion coils on one side can't trigger the ones on the other, but a grenades throw to the center by the flamethrower will ignite both sides as a frag. Throw frag and spike grenades in the triangles the mancannons make, for an easy throw that will always land in front of the flamethrower nearer to your enemy. But flame grenades in the triangle will hit the cieling, too high to hurt enemies. _________________________________________________ The lone picture in the picture section, the overview. i love this remake! the idea is really cool and i love these kind of maps with explosions every now and then. good remake! 5/5

I'm going to do it over again, No floor made of boxes next time to remove bumps, also this was just so it was out there. I agree, it is a lag fest however it is fun. And I have it set so Fusion Coils don't explode 100% nonstop. They could, but it would be highly unprobable.
why would you remake a map just to make the floor bumpy? in a remake you should be constantly striving to make it better in every way. You could spend the time to do that. Also, I don't know what fire lane 1 is so you can't expect everyone to. From now on write a discription as well.
Version 2.1 is up. Silent death, I wanted to see how it would be with the interlocked floor. It was bumpy, but I had finished 75% of the map. I figured to finish it, then redo it. The mancannon don't affect spartans or elites, so don't worry everyone.
