8/15/08: They updated the Bungie Favorites again yay!!! But don't get to happy, the maps are still of the same quality. Pictures got better, sort of. Current Bungie Favorites Pictures: -RED LETTERS INDICATE BEST PICTURES- Dumb Guy: What's goin' on: Splatter: Run Forest Run: Im with you: Picture Archive:
yeah, the only thing i enjoy looking at on the bungie favorites are the screenshots and those arent that good
The Bungie Favorites section is failing to find better material. They are having a hard time trying to find better maps that are made that Arn't ForgeHub, since they already had a section on us. (Correct me if I'm wrong here). Bungie Favorites is based on community spotlighting and giving other popular community forums to show off what they have. Frankly, they are missing quite a few areas that are required. I once saw a Bungie Favorite clip that just had 3 assassinations in a row...That was it! I don't know about you guys, but Bungie Favorites has gotten worse and worse.
I haven't seen them yet. I don't know, many great maps out there never get acknowledged by bungie, cause how are we supposed to show a map to a bungie employee? Luck that it gets handed down to them.
bungie favorite has almost always had crappy maps. if sum1 from bungie makes a map it is almost always put in the favorite no matter how crappy. its just stuff we have to deal with. now that i think about it the only time where they have had good maps is when they had a bunch of forge hub maps.
There just featuring another website thats nothing about screenshots, maps or game variants. Meh. Why bother with Bungie Favs, if you want maps go to the map section here lol.
i dont think forge hub has ever had bungie faves... if an admin or staff member comes across this... is forge hub interested in applying for bungie faves? i have no doubt that we would provide the best bungie faves. but anyway, more on topic, it seems as bungie is just picking the wrong groups for bungie faves. the only one i've really understood is halo tracks. and their bungie faves aren't really good. running riot only provided good videos. compound intelligence was just a bunch of crap from bungie mods and such. and now they give bungie favorites to a group called halo academy? where they try totrain people to play halo better? and bungie thinks they can provide better custom content then even bungie themselves provide to us? i think they were crazy doing that. but anyway, im a member at Mjolnir Battle Tactics at bungie. i think after Halo Academy is done with theirs, MBT gets bungie faves. they already have all their submissions in, and let me tell you guys, some of the submissions aren't great, but hands down they will still have the best bungie faves yet.
God. The current favorites are ****. Those are by far the most lame ass screens I've ever seen, and the maps are lackluster.
If you rely on Bungie Favourites for quality maps and screenshots, have you forgotten that you're a member of forgehub? The maps on bungie favourites are disappointing and not as good as some of the ones here because, as said previously, people struggle to find decent maps that arent on forgehub. When you call it a forgehub map that takes it away from the maker. Its is a map made by a user, and they posted it on forgehub.
well, what what im saying is shitty files are getting thousands of downloads for nothing. And isn't like 75% of forgers part of forgehub?
the current bungies favs are by the H3A, they are not supposed to be cool maps there stricly to help improve your halo3 skills
Okay, am just checked them out... wow... Hive was the best... and that isn't saying much. The Wall was incredibly sloppy, I couldn't believe my eyes. Tower Redux? WTF was that? He used receiver nodes to "hold up" floating immovable objects.... -_- Fortress was just spammed with weapon caches, and no interlocking. Was their more? I don't want to know...
I've hated the Bungie favourites for months now. They just aren't capable of churning out good content. Can't wait until Forgehub has anotheer go...unless they haven't had one yet. Forgehub would just own absolutely everyone elses content hands down.
Technically, yes, we have. However, that does not go without saying that FH should be "the decider" in what actually makes it to bungie favs
