These are some Rube Goldberg Machines i made in Halo 3 over the last couple months. Halo 3 Rube Goldberg Part 2: Foundry [youtube]MWvjOFbJCs4[/youtube] This is my 2nd one. It was made in roughly 4 or so hours and was finished on the 1st day the Map Pack was released. Halo 3 Rube Goldberg Part 3: Soccer Ball Madness [youtube]qrjg6ssr4Aw[/youtube] This one, by far, has the gayest name, but i can explain. it was made in 3 hours, 12 to 3am and i kinda rushed it. i was obviously tired and just kinda wanted to get it done. not a good example of my work. The correct title for this was really "6 Pins 1 Ball", a spoof off 2 girls one cup. i'm gonna change it when youtube isn't under maintenance. These are really cool, the only complaint I have about some of them is the camera work and the not knowing of what the objective was. -Donuts
I tried making one of those on foundry once, but all of the static objects tripped me up. The movies were a bit confusing as I had no idea what you were trying to do. If you maybe told us the contraption's mission was beforehand, or maybe made it kill you (make it an elaborate suicide) then it might be clearer. Otherwise, good job.
Why would someone waste their time on these...although I guess they are awesome, especially the third one
Thanks for the idea of telling the viewer what each will do b4 it goes off. i will include that in my 5th one, which i have finished just 2 minutes ago. it'll b up whenever i get a chance to capture it (with my friends card lol). O and btw, the other 4 were filmed using a regular camera. this 5th one i will use a capture card which means a lot better quality.
Well, those were pretty cool. I was hoping this would do something at the end like kill someone or something, but they didn't.
This is extremely cool, I kind of need some help on maps that deal with barrels rolling down platforms, mind if I hit you up with a FR and Forge like Rockstars together.
its not really a thing u do together, its more like repetitive trial and error for 4-8 hours , maybe more
