Ok, this is my first forge map. i decided to use foundry because that seemed to be the most common and the easiest to create with. its a simple map, a base on each side, one human and one covenant and it has a slightly maze like middle. there's a good amount of weapons and i haven't gone overboard on the powerful weapons (i hope) so download it have a play and let me know what you think and how i could improve it. inside the covenant base. the front of the human base. front view of the covenant base. inside the human base. the hidden sword, you'll find it easily enough. the teleporter that goes from one side of the covenant base to the other sneaky side entrance to the human base. If you are going to comment on the pics not working - at least tell him how to fix them...shesh! You probably haven't embedded the screenshots. You need to download each one, upload it to a site such as photobucket (I use that) and copy the DIRECT CODE and insert it into this button: A more detailed explanation can be found by clicking on my signature. Try not to double (EDIT: OR TRIPLE) post either as it will probably get you an infraction (basically a warning) By the way did you download the Hi-res screenshot from your Bungie.net profile? You probably did but if not that then the only problem would be to do with the direct image code...

Nice try for your first map, but it seems you don't know the glitches most forgers use to make high-quality maps. There are guides in the Forging 101 section of this site that'll help you learn important things, such as interlocking. Also, most people recommend you have 2-4 power weapons on the map.
Yeah interlocking majorly helps with the popularity of a map. Read the forging 101 guide about how to do it. I suggest you keep walls straight as they just look better like that and maybe you should remove the shield doors. Add some more cover in a few strateigic places and you should be on your way to making a better map. Dam you Tex...I would have reprted these spam and triple posts but I'm a bit nice and don't fully understand the reporting system.
a very nice map for a first post. one really easy trick is to flip the double boxes so the bottom of them are facing up. they are smoother. if your confused, look at the map in my sig.
well the map looks pretty cool and good job using the back hallway but mabey a v2 with interlocking and make some walls stand up straight anyways good job on your first map!
Nice job forging. Maybe we could hook up on live and I could show you a couple tricks to make it more aesthetically pleasing (no offense).
