Well the idea is simple to explain, but Im not sure if it's possible. I was thinking maybe the Best downloads, like anything on Bungie Favorites, could be put on the market place for downloading and thusly, not count as CC. It would just be like a default map/gametype. Would it work?
It would, but I doubt they'd ever actually do it.... Never seen any game try that. And Bungie is one of the only game sites that have these downloads available for people. I actually like the 100 Limit a little bit. Makes you keep the best of the best. I've gotten to 100 several times, and when I get there, I just delete the bad maps I downloaded, and the horrible gametypes I experimented with. Then after a while you get the warnings again, and you just repeat the process over and over. Trust me, there's alwaya going to be maps that you don't even remeber you had in there, and that you'll want to delete.
Or just make silver gamertags and have them download stuff from bungie/store your own content. If you have more than one GT, you just sign in on your active, and your silver..load up your map and there ya go. Easy way to transfer too, is both join forge, and say GT1 has the map, well than GT2 presses start and hits save. Tada!
It wouldnt work. In order for the game to read the map files they are saved to a special folder within the games "space" this folder thanks to microsoft is suspect to a 100 item cap. THATS why we are limited, say we download extra maps form bungi.say cold storage...notice we dont get any morecustom space? Exactly. They would have to b saved as default bungie maps....which would lead to ridiculously long map lists for pitifully low amounts of cc space.Which isnt worth it in the end
i herd some where that if you have 100 then save it to a memory card then move it to your hard drive you can have over 100!
The custom content limit is really annoying i always have to delete **** to make room for more **** lol
You can make a silver account, and put everything in your fileshare, then download it on the silver account. Your actual name will have none then. Clean start.
Bungie has stated in weekly updates that they acknowledge the community's dislike of the custom content limit, but it can't be changed with an auto-update.
1.if someone got even 101 there system would most likely crash 2.it simply wouldn't save as there wouldn't be enough room in the folder 3.It would ask you to save over another file thus still making the limit 100 k?
