Short of a grenade jump onto a corner box, then another over the wall, there's no way to get out. And intentionally lowering your shields in a map this size with the number of site lines that it has is nothing short of stupid. Please read the discription next time before posting.
Im not sure about having the brute shot on the map. maby you should stick the mauler or a diff weapon back on.
The Mauler doesn't see any use, the map design is too open for it. Plus, the Brute Shot works wonders in Doubles, one player with the BR, the other with the Brute Shot, much faster than a double-BR. Ok, I'll list weps here, if anyone can come up with a decent alternitave, suggest it and I'll test it out... Magnum-Too weak SMG-Already on map Assault Rifle-Spawn Battle Rifle- 6 on map Sniper Rifle- on map as power weapon Rocket Launcher- Sniper is power weapon, 2 is too many on this map Shotgun- Could work, but has limited use like the mauler Plasma Pistol- 2nd one could work... Plasma Rifle- Already on Map Carbine- Pratically the same as a BR, of which there are 6 Fuel Rod Cannon- See rocket launcher Beam Rifle- Sniper Rifle already on map Sword- Sniper is power weapon Spikers- Same use as SMGs Brute Shot- Currently on, useful with a partner Mauler- Limited use within map, same as Shotgun Gravity Hammer- Sniper is power weapon If anyone can come up with an argument against this, please do so. Keep in mind, that the map is a bit too small to have 2 power weapons, and that I don't concider a mauler a power weapon, or that a shotgun is a power weapon on this map. Sword/Hammer/Rockets/Snipes/Fuelrod are all power weapons.
this is a pretty sick map ive got to say i really like the MLG feel to it. but that u didn't call it MLG since u put a brute shot it. and isn't omicron in 24? wait surgest. i think its suggest lol thats almost as good as someone saying tryangular in my thread lol. no hard feelings i just noticed it
>.< Thanks for the typo fix. Sorry, i only had a min or so to type that up, I had a meeting to get to (goin' to Japan with school =P). And the name Omicron comes from the Greek Letter. The first version of the map, that wasn't interlocked, and was smaller, was called Episilon, probebly because I watch too much RvB (it's the name of Wash's AI, the one that killed itself), but I'm not too sure. Anyway, it needed a name change, so we googled greek letters, and there it was. I might keep it as a naming theme for new maps...
This looks nice, a really beutiful center piece. It's nice and I see you did some interlocking, good job.
