I'm betting probably not, but I don't always keep my eyes out for these things. I'd like to explore some under the glass stuff, and quite frankly, it's difficult to do with turret glitching. I don't usually have any friends who understand, or are willing to do this stuff, so teletapping by myself would be premo, especially since I prefer to be in forge by myself anyway. Just thought I'd ask hoping someone would have a suggestion.
Place a door/ wall flat on the ground and make it spawn to no. Spawn your teleporter and put it under where the wall/door will spawn. When it spawns, it should be under the map. It's not telly tapping, but it's as close as itt's going to get. Oh, and if you let go, you lose it. So you have to sae and end it.
Thanks alby, but any suggestions for the older maps? Like narrows, epitaph or snowbound? Since there aren't any immovable items? Or would the same effect apply the placing a crate, and surrounding it with other teles/weapon holders, and than doing that method?
Theoretically, you should be able to use weapon holders to the same end, if you post them closely-knit enough to emulate the wall. At the same time, though, I've almost never seen a teleporter geomerge in this way, so yours'd be the first. At the same time, I'd be careful on Epitaph: you might be able to create a falling map if you're clever, but I'm pretty sure the fall barrier rests right underneath that glass floor (I've never seen maps that have gotten under there--do they even exist?). Still, I'd like to see what you come up with on Snowbound (sadly, Narrows has been done). ^_^
I've seen stuff underneath epitaph, theres a bit of space. And I wasn't planning on building anything..my maps are usually of a style: Enclosed, small competitive slayer maps. I'll try weapon holders..well see how it goes. Thanks.
