Has anyone played this game either for the computer or PS3. If so how is it compared to Halo 3, I am thinking about getting it, and is there a map editor in this game not a forge equivalent but something where you can create your own maps not just modify them.
I've played UT II some. I really don't like it, just because I'm not into the whole "let's fly around the map at eleventy billion miles per hour shooting each other" thing. The PC fanboys swear by it though, so what ever.
This is the reason why I did not want to buy this I have seen videos and such of the game play. It seems even twitchier than Halo. But does anyone know if it has Map Editing/Map Creator.
the PC version does, and I think the PS3 version might, that or they could just get user created content I can't remember, but I think microsoft has tried to keep Epic from getting user created content on the 360 version probably for security/legal reasons so idk if the 360 version is gonna have an editor or any custom content at all. I played the PC demo and it's pretty fun, basically UT2004 with better graphics, but yeam it it really twitchy and be prepared to get owned if this is your first UT game...
Well this will be a good thing to waste my two Gamestop gift cards on. Mostly just for the map editor, I need to do more research about the map editing though.
for the ps3 theres no map editor but the pc has it, its pretty fun but id recommend call of duty 4 or mass affect.
I have tried Mass Effect doesn't really appeal to me for some reason. And CoD4 is a really good game but I would only be buying UT III for the map editor.
The UT 3 map editor is wonderful, just requires alot of tutorials to learn. you can also edit weapons, gametypes, hell, even models and modes
Wow is it an in-game editor or do you have to download the program, and if you do have to download a program where can I find it.
It comes with the game. Buy the collectors edition and it comes with tutorials. They GIVE YOU Unreal Engine 3
It looks exactly like GoW which makes me sad...I do like the multiplayer of the other games though, so I am conflicted
I have a ps3 and... Ya i have a ps3 and i have played a little bit of it and it was pretty sweet ...but it depends what you like. If you like lazers, unrealistic SCI FI, and driving sweet vehicles, then ya you will like it!!!
