You must be new to the site. Welcome to ForgeHub! Here, we have rules for posting maps, which you can find here. Here at Forge Hub, a crucial part of map posting is having one embedded pic. To do this, here's a tutorial: First, go to Bungie.net to your page. Find the Screenshot Viewer, and double click the screenshot which you choose to upload. When you do this, an option should pop up asking you what you want to do with the file. Your screen should look like this: Click Save to Desktop, or wherever you would like to save it to. Next, go to a site like Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket to host your image. If you do not have an account, create one. When you have your account made, go to your photo album. There is a blue bar that says "Choose files" that should look like this: Click that blue bar, where the red arrow points to(arrow added for dramatic effect). Upload from wherever you saved the file. Now, after the file has uploaded, scroll down the page to your picture's thumbnail. There is a list of options, like this: Copy the highlighted link, or direct link where the arrow is. And yes, that is Chris Hanson Last step is coming back to here, where you enter the final direct link into the code( [ img]link[ /img] ) without the spaces. Hopefully, that helps you out. Any questions, PM me To find the rest of the important rules here, click this link.
okay i am going to tell you how to post embedded pic on a post first you take pic on halo then search for it on bungie.net once found either copy the URL (website) or save the pic then go to here ImageShack® - Image Hosting and either browse for the pic or paste the URL in then host it THEN A PICTURE WILL COME UP CLICK ON IT then a bigger one will come up copy that and paste on to the post
lol 2 people telling him how to do it guys no offence but if he wants to know how to do it he will ask.. downloaded it i rate it a 0.5/5 sorry
^yeah but know he doesn't need to and also they are for both websites and also we posted it at the same time last thing you didn't help what so ever
Umm no offense but telling him how to embed screenshots is better than posting 'pics don't work' since all your doing is spamming this thread with essentially a useless post. A new member shouldn't need to ask for help people should be able to see he needs help and take the initiative of helping him out. Not tryin to be a jerk or anything. I checked out the map anyways. It's not bad, actually it's pretty good. You might want to add that you start by going to the left of the starting lauch because I though the man cannon at the start was supposed to carry me over that wall of boxes but I see thats not the case. Also, I think going through blue base isn't all that necessary and instead you should take that grav lift and shield door out and just have the racers continue through and head up to the right into the room where the lap counter is.
definently needs interlocking and it is very amateur. you need more outside barriers and more stuff to jump on the track or stuff to make it more challenging. if you dont know how to interlock then click on this link- http://www.forgehub.com/forum/forging-101/973-interlocking-objects.html I would give this a 1/5. I'm not trying to put you down i just want to help i was told the same thing on my first race map so i just want to share my knowledge.
you dont have very many pictures of your map so i cant see a lot of them but i guess you did a good job on parts of the map but ive seen better done on avalanche.
