    I just got gimp for my new mac and i'm not used to it yet because I used to have photoshop. Anyway, how to you free transform an image?

    It's not really a big folder, it's just a folder. Did you watch the video? That should explain everything.

    hey alby which version of gimp r u usin, kuz i downloades some fonts from 1001fonts.com , followed all the steps for adding them to gimp, but it didnt work

    btw the part on getting brushes was really helpfull, i couldnt do a decient background before i read that

    do you know if the fonts on 1001fonts are supposed to work with 2.0?

    It should. Make sure you refresh Gimp or your fonts dialog. Are you using Windows or a Mac?

    im using windows... but who knows maby i didnt do everything correctly. also every time i click on refresh in the fonts dialog section GIMP crashes... lets say i download font X (this is just a senario) and in the folder there is a tru type file labeled X and a whole bunch of other files that look pointless. do i need all the files?

    You need to extract the file, and find the file in that file that has the T logo, then copy that and paste into the Fonts section.

    Do you think I should even download this program?
    I'm not that much into editing pics and stuff yet, but idk.
    I tried downloading it once and it just froze my computer. And is it actually good?
    Because there's a lot of cheap/free programs out there that just aren't even worth it...

    so should I try once again?


    EDIT:
    I downloaded it, and this time it worked!
    It's a very confusing program though, even with all those tuts out there...
