I just got gimp for my new mac and i'm not used to it yet because I used to have photoshop. Anyway, how to you free transform an image?
wow this was amazingly helpfull (now maby i wolnt be so background retarded when i make sigs with GIMP) THANKS TONS!!! :squirrel_hug:
It's not really a big folder, it's just a folder. Did you watch the video? That should explain everything.
hey alby which version of gimp r u usin, kuz i downloades some fonts from 1001fonts.com , followed all the steps for adding them to gimp, but it didnt work btw the part on getting brushes was really helpfull, i couldnt do a decient background before i read that
Down right foolish, i love it. I appreciate this because i was teh noobz, and now im not sucha big 1.
im using windows... but who knows maby i didnt do everything correctly. also every time i click on refresh in the fonts dialog section GIMP crashes... lets say i download font X (this is just a senario) and in the folder there is a tru type file labeled X and a whole bunch of other files that look pointless. do i need all the files?
You need to extract the file, and find the file in that file that has the T logo, then copy that and paste into the Fonts section.
Do you think I should even download this program? I'm not that much into editing pics and stuff yet, but idk. I tried downloading it once and it just froze my computer. And is it actually good? Because there's a lot of cheap/free programs out there that just aren't even worth it... so should I try once again? EDIT: I downloaded it, and this time it worked! It's a very confusing program though, even with all those tuts out there...
