Re: Exile:: H2H/ 2v2 um-- it "looks" a tad cramped? how about letting me know how it plays after you have play it keep in mind it is small-- made for H2H/ 1v1, 2v2, and 4 man FFA.
I have to say, I am super impressed with the geometry. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it, and it looks incredible. But I'm not digging the weapon/powerup placement. The grenades seem passable to me, but seriously, the power weapon is a mauler? With only the starting clip as ammo? Fail. I would venture to say that a Sword or Shotgun would be better for most games, but whatever you think is best. And why were there no duel weps on the map? It just seems like the map has so much potential (sword camping the basement would win) but the weapon spawns seem to be lacking.

Looks nice but need more pictures unless thats the entire thing. Also it's to small for me just a personal opinion.
I really have to aggree with everyone else that you need more pics. Also, do u hvae a different version of the map for every gametype you wanted to support? I don't really feel like downloading 5 or 6 maps...
RE:: more picturesâ€â€done. RE:: Weapons on map this plays MLG v3, that is the weapon set. MLG doesn’t play sword, shotgun or hammer. In MLG the mauler is the short range power weapon. As for only one clip, the map is small, H2H is only to 15 kills, five shots every 2 minutes is good IMO. RE:: how many maps do I have to DL 2DLâ€â€one team map, one FFA variation. Use the FFA variation for H2H. here is the brake down. Exile 2.4 plays TS, KOTH, Ball Exile FFA 2.4 plays 4 man FFA, and H2H MLG v3 TS BR starts 110% damage 110% speed No motion tracker 10% slower shield regeneration H2H BR starts 110% damage 110% speed No motion tracker Normal slower shield regeneration FFA BR starts 110% damage 110% speed motion tracker on normal slower shield regeneration
LOL titmar it says metaLOCK not metaCOCK I really like this map, I don't play MLG rules but its a very good map for 1 v 1.
well pixs are there to give you an idea of what the map looks like. I have given weapon locations in the discription...I didn't want to have a very lengthly post. RE: those that don't play MLG settings-- you can play regular setting if you like. I just think of competitive maps as those that use MLG setting and would be played at tournaments.
I queued the H2H variant. What is the difference, spawn areas? I actually implemented your spawn area idea in one of my latest maps. It was a small map and the respawns were way too predictable and limited so I put a bunch of random respawn areas down and it started working a lot better. Only now, you'll sometimes spawn behind your enemy. But I agree, that scenario is better than predictable (campable) respawns. I'm interested in seeing how you placed the respawn areas in this map. I'm a big fan of H2H maps, but not really a fan of MLG, but that's probably because I don't ever play it. I play for fun, and MLG seems way to serious and competitive for me. Still, I'd be interested in a H2H match against you some time. Maybe a match here and a match on one of my levels? Anyway, the map looks great. I'll try to get some people together soon to play some games here.
Map looks nice...artistic (with the merged objects), compact, and clean-looking. Can't say more yet, downloading now to check it out after work...
Wow, by the first pic, I was impressed. Looks like a great map. I really love it when someone does something creative with the objects in foundry, and not just place some walls and boxes down. I'm tired of seeing the same old plain map style in every different map I d/l.
