I was trying to learn how to do the new geomerging, I didn't really know how to get under the map but I learned something other than that. I learned a new way to float objects.

    1. Put a double box on any DLC map.
    2. Press x and put place at start to no.
    3. Restart the round.
    4. Stand where the object originally was.
    5. Wait at the given amount of time, then voila. You got a semi-decent floating object. Enjoy.

Your spartan is pointed as an object.

wait, you mean a immovable object? Your technique is very vague and needs a bit more clearing up.

Isn't there a much easier way to float objects?

Save and quit. But this is a new discovery.

What about stacking then deleting? Like placing stacking two double boxes and deleted the one on the bottom?

Save and quit is better. View Forging 101 for more information.

Save and quit is mostly good for floating things out of a map (where there is no surface)

Wouldn't standing where the double box spawns just push you under the map rather than pushing the box into the air?
