This is my first post on Forgehub.com so I do apologize if my post is not up to standards. Expholosophus Created by PUNISH 95 ->Download Here<- Supported Gametypes: Slayer Mid-Sized Team Slayer Juggernaut Map Description This is my first try at making a competetive map but being serious about it. Basically it's existance is for FFA Slayer and can work very nicely with Team Slayer with teams of about 4-6. I could'nt think of a name but this randomly comes into my head? It's a very strange name but it's more of it's content. I did'nt use interlocking in this, which I should have but I will try to use it in the future. ______________________________________________ Now for screenshots =D An Overview of Expholosophus The Hallway Overshield Rockets Turret & Sniper Energy Sword & Beam Rifle __________________________________________________ All comments welcome. Things to improve, techniques to use, good areas, anything! Download Expholosophus The map has no custom Gametype, you can make you own and see which ones work best with Expholosophus. Well *yawn* I'll be off now. Thanks for reading!
Welcome to forgehub! Evan though the map could be improved with interlocking it still looks cool and well made. I love how you made the sword and door in the crane that was very creative. Great work hope to see much more from you in the future!
It's amazing for a first map, but I think there are too many power weapons. 4/5. Up to standards once link is up. Gratz.
wow looks like a great map to play on even tho i cat pronounce the name lol, i lov the weapon placements too (especially the sword)
Well my favorite part is the name of your map, but I also think your map has some good potential. Although it isn't interlocked, it looks pretty neat. 4/5 for being a new member. -jelly
Welcome to ForgeHub! anyway really nice map for your first. maybe my first map should have the idea of this, but way different.
I like the look of the map, looks fun to play on however i have a few suggestions 1) having the shotgun, or any power weapon, right next to any powerup is not a good idea, so i would either move the power up, or the shotty 2) move the human sniper down a level or two, that way they have to work to get up high, same thing with the beam rifle 3) although it seems like a large map, i agree with redearth, there are way too many power weapons, try messing around with clip sizes, location, etc., but i would suggest replacing a couple with some other weapons! it looks like you have some great ideas here! p.s Welcome to teh hubz!
I love your idea, it's amazing that a first map can be this good, but like the others have siad it needs some inter locking and there does look like there is alot of power weapons. Power weapons are fun, but if they become controlled by one person or if some guy with one won't let you get weapons then it becomes not fun to play. I will Dl when i get time though. keep forgin, I'm looking for a V2!
i hope no one decides to say that this map sucks or isnt that great because truth is that this map is awesome, and its your first post which makes even more to die for (i mean that in a good way of course) and although there is minimal or no interlocking its a great map without it. i see great potential in you. keep making more maps
Pretty desent for a first time poster, the forum is up to standards...thats good, and your maps not epic phail lol its pretty good, but not alot of cool structures, just the average box here, stairs there..
Eek, i forgot there was one part of interlocking... There is a man cannon to the back of the map. I interlocked a double box into it so people cant stand on the small part inside the double open box, the open box is where you go up throught the MC.
Well my favorite part is the name of your map, but I also think your map has some good potential. Although it isn't interlocked, it looks pretty neat. 4/5 for being a new member. -jelly yeah it is look closely at all the pitchers
i think this is as good a map as anyone can make with no interlocking, boxflipping, bridge flipping, or geomerging, but those are the meathods that make maps great. its a good first post, but nothing amazing.
