Mt. Massacre Map: Snowbound Gametypes: Slayer (turn starting grenades off), CTF , Assault 6-10 Players Recommended Description: Mt. Massacre is played outside of snowbound. There are 2 bases and a middle which have boxes to walk on, if you fall off of a crate you have 3 seconds to get back on one before Bungie's out of the map death clock gets you. When going from your base to the middle there are 2 choices, a teleporter in the base, or 2 grav jumps over a pit, if you go for the grav jumps theres a reward, 1 bubble shield and 2 fire grenades, if you fall theres a teleporter which will put you in the middle, the end result of you missing the grav jump is the same as taking the teleporter, you don't die and you still get to the middle, but it takes a lot longer and you don't get anything from it. At the defense base (marked by a communication antenna) there is 1 sniper which spawns every minute, at the offense base there is 1 sword which never respawns. The attackers have 2 ways of getting to the defensive base, grav jump over the pit or go through the two-way teleporter which the defensive team uses to get to the middle, its a good idea to have the sniper watching their tele.

The map is cool but theres just not enough ways to move to the other teams base. But me and my friends still get a kick out of it. nice job!
I never even thought of trying to get out of Snowbound. Nice idea, although it looks like there is only one way to get to the base.
amazing originiality but everytime i play it the sniper base DOMINATES. you got to find a way to balance out weaponry a tad more.
Everyone thought it was too difficult to get to the other base? I thought it was a little too easy. Just go through the teleporter at your base, then the teleporter in the middle and your from your base to theirs in 10 seconds. :squirrel_wtf:
i downloaded this a LONG LONG time ago before i found out about Forgehub, i ran across it on the bungie forums. i was also playing a custom game with some random people and some guy renamed it Mt. Screwed and said that he made it. i totally called him out on it and told everyone to look up Mt. Massacre on the bungie forum. good map though, i definitely recommend downloading it if you haven't tried it yet.
