State Pen Forged by Murdock Sampson Supported Gametypes: Cops N Robbers Hide & Shank ^^Click Gametype to Download Map Description State Pen is your basic prison. It's complete with bathrooms, showers, cafeterias, and much more (see pictures... for pictures). This map was made over a 3-week period and took about 10 hours to make, due to constant remaking of structures. I hope its now pleasing enough to download. This is the first map I've made that I think is worth posting. I've been perfecting it for quite sometime and I think it's finally ready to be posted. Gametypes Cops N Robbers: This is the traditional game that gained much popularity. The golden rule of the game is: do what the cop says and you won't get blown away by the cops. The robbers have to do what the cops say to avoid being killed, and long enough to escape prison, assassinate the cops, etc. The robbers cell/cell area is generally a safe zone, and other than that if they are outside without permission they can be shot, but not without being told to return to their cells. The robbers may ask the cops to be allowed to go to the cafeteria, bathroom, showers, and other locations, though those are the most common three. The cops will usually comply, since if they don't, the game will become incredibly boring. Hide & Shank: This is a twist on the original gameplay. I suggest having around 8 people because half the people have toe be cops and so the more robbers the more interesting. This game relies heavily on the honor system, so make sure your host is responsible, and actually wants to play, so they can ban the fun-ruiners. This game plays similar to traditional C & R other than one slight twist: the robbers main objective is now not only surviving but to shank their teammates (this normally takes over the need to escape) to become the Last Man Standing. The cops, obviously, want to prevent the inmates from killing eachother, and will take the following course of actions in case of each infraction: Inmate seen with sword- Told to put it away and returned to cell (if not already there, plus I'd keep an eye on that one) Inmate caught killing someone (cop or inmate)- Taken to chair, refusal will lead to being shot until killed. Insubordination- Shotgun shell to the face. Inmate seen with a sword by a dead body- If its a cop, you're allowed to take them to the chair. If there are multiple inmates by the cop, and you can't tell which one killed them, or if the body is an inmates, they're off the hook, but the normal "Inmate found with sword" course of actions take place. If you refuse when told to go to the chair, the cop can and probably will shoot you. Its just way more epic to die in the chair. Also your reward for being the Last Man Standing is you become incredibly powerful (instant kill and invunerable) and can hunt and kill the cops. WARNING: HIDE & SHANK IS FOR GAMERS INCREDIBLY AVID ABOUT ABIDING BY THE HONOR SYSTEM. GAMEPLAY WILL BE SCREWED OVER IF YOU LET SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T ABIDE PLAY! SO IF YOU DON'T HAVE 8-10 PEOPLE YOU KNOW WHO REALLY LOVE COPS AND ROBBERS, YOU MIGHT AS WELL NOT DOWNLOAD IT. _________________________________________________ PICTURES Prison Overview with Captions Cells Overview... the cells are in a cell building, doors are shown below this image Cell Building Doors. The door on the left is the in door, which just launches you directly in by man cannon, with no way to swim back out. The other door is uses the teleporter-door method and is blocked and must be opened from the outside, however a well placed grenade from inside could open it. Next to the cells is this structure. On top you see a man riding the ladder (idea by SlasheI2) to the sniper tower. Underneath is the garage area where the 'Hog is stored. Cafeteria area. In the gametypes I have listed the custom power-ups make you sick, by turning you green and making you sick and weaker. Door to Bathrooms. Simply pick up the overshields and the pallet will slide away. Bathrooms. Where you go to do your thing. ] Showers. Go here to clean yourself off. "Group hug in the showers tonight." Gate. In "Hide & Shank" the inmates cannot drive, and can only ride shotgun. So the cops must escort them past the patented "Foot-runner-proof-gate" to take them to the chair. Electric chair in action. Cops simply go to the spectators box, pick up the sniper rifle and shoot the "button" (propane tank) to start the fireworks. _________________________________________________ So there's the map pretty much. I'd appreciate if when you give your "My first impression" kind of comment you dont start telling me how bad it is before you've actually downloaded it. the food is a custom power up and so i made it change your appearance as well as physical traits. and yeah we'll play sometime... you don't accept my invites anymore though... lame. and yeah its like one here
Looks really fun. I love the 'cafeteria', and the electric chair is wonderful. I'll give it a DL and see how it plays.
I was with Murdock when he was in the final stages of building this and it was amazing! It is by far the best cops and Robbers map I have seen! If you like to play Cops and Robbers I really recommend you DL this because its really fun map! Great job Murdock!

Dude this is a really cool map. I love cops and robbers. The poisoned food idea was really cool. I just wish my xbox works.

hehe food poisoning. but then you can just get the overshield and it deactivates the custom powerup right?

This is a good cops n robbers map, thoguh I swear you are making loads lol. Anyways, I don't like cops n robbers much so no D/L, but I'm sure this will get alot of attention seeing as about 1/3 the custom games I join are cops 'n' robbers.
