You do know I was the first one to make the elevator in Halo 3 anyways to make a elevator just use a teleporter then use walls then well...ill post the picture of it later.
Don't be some condesending. It probably something like, go through a teleporter, arrive at the top of the shaft. But it could be a unique design that makes it even more elevator like. Don't assume things.
you could make a permament grav lift under a crate, set the grav lifts respawn time to 10, and then shoot the grav lift when you want the crate to come down, then it would respawn and you would go up. But you still cant go down from the top level.
See you guys need to read what I have posted... I HAVE A Working Elevator... and it fully works... thanks to TheHippieHunter. WE finished up my idea Thursday... the map is inful gear now... I just keeping people posted.. also there is a link to a file share... with the freaken idea... it really helps to read topics fully guys... The map is about 2/4 done... should be good... Some early specks... 4 floors... 1 vent shaft... and since this is a hotel... at least 4 suites for spartans... a very large lobby for the checkin in and also ninjah routes.. the map should be able to play any game type you can think of...
the reason it was 2/4 over 1/2 is that I have 4 levels to the hotel so it was to show how much totally i have done...
The elevator has been made on Rats Nest. I have no time to go researching to see if that was you or someone else or was already mentioned, I just wanted to let you know.
That wasn't me... but what type of lift do you mean? because mine is not using teleporters... ... can any one find me the link.. because at the moment ..this map is eating time right out of my hand...
Starting some testing of the map see if you can get out and that type of thing... PM or add Gtag if you want in... on any of the testing..
After some long map testing and jumping me And Coyote1023 have made it so you can't jump out of my map...
