360 Problems

ive heard that thats the beginning of the red ring of death u might need to get ur warranty out

 

my xbox just did the same exact thing, it says it cant read any disc i put in. if this is the red ring of light thing im gonna be so pissed, i dont want pay 100 bucks and wait 4 weeks to get it repaired.

 

Basically, it means you won't be able to play your 360 for a month

Well, when that happened to my xbox 360 pro edit, I hit it, it worked for a day then I shot it. so um if it is under warrenty, send it in to be repaired. try smacking it first

 

yeah my 360 just got the red ring of death so i,m going to have Halo withdraw combined with assassins creed and Gears and what-not.

 

aw how could i forget Call of Duty 4 withdrawl too. ahhhhhhhhh red rings suk :squirrel_jaffa:

 

I once put in Halo 3 and it said "Play DVD." When I clicked it, it put up the "Place this disc in an xbox 360 console" message that it gives you if you put it in a dvd player.
After about 5 coronaries, I just ejected and it worked.

Try contacting Microsoft... too bad, I feel for you.

Couldn't have said it in a better way... it's quite annoying when half the time it says your disc is unreadible. I guess thats my punishment for buying it off ebay.

 

I still have one of the first 360's to be released and amazingly enough it has only froze three times. I had to buy a new power brick however because it was extremely noisy.

 

I smack mine.....

 

Mine just had a hardware falure (Player Four red light, E74) and I'm having to send it in... I would have happily pay a hundred or two extra to get one that wouldn't break... this will be my third 360, assuming they don't just fix it...

One time i put my halo 3 disk in and it said "Insert this Halo 3 disk into a Xbox 360 console". I was like... WTF? But i just opened the tray and closed it again and it worked. It was still pretty weird...

P.S. Smacking it works...

 

Mine does the same thing sometimes. In the dashboard it says "Play DVD" so it thinks its a dvd so it boots the DVD player, and the disc says "dvd player? 360 kthxbai"
Don't smack it, just eject it and close it again.
