    Final Boss Drops Walshy

    Quote:
Ripples were sent across the competitive gaming world today with the official word from MLG Commissioner John Nelson that Final Boss has dropped Walshy from the team. This marks the end of the longest-standing triumvirate in Halo history, and has certainly come as a shock to many. Walshy, Ogre 1 and Ogre 2 have each in many ways become synonymous with the team name Final Boss over the course of their Halo careers, and their history can be traced back as far as MLG

I never really got into the whole "Halo team pro" ****, but whenever I would hear about a professional team, it was always Final Boss, I'm quite surprised about that to be honest...(The fact that they dropped walshy)

I wounder how everything will be now that teams are mixed up. :] I think its a good thing teams should always cycle players otherwise strategies get old and repetative which is bad. Think about it on the good side not the negative.

If they cant work together, it wont be good. Probably less or more Trash Talking. IDK if this is a good thing.

You see Walshy has been called **** all since the start of this years pro circuit. Mainly because Og1 and Strongside carry Final Boss.

He left because he wants to show that he can carry a team to (much like T2 on Str8 Rippin) and I think it's quite sad that he left for that. He wants to show he can make a lower ranking team rise higher and become Number 1.

Final Boss are 3rd best now anyway, behind TD and Str8.

Are you mentally challenged? He was DROPPED by FB, he didn't leave. He was godly in halo 2 but in halo 3 he's isn't capable of carrying a top four team (look at his stats) Neighbor>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Walshy at halo 3, watch the vods.

Plus TD lost snipedown for mackeo so its safe to say that they're a worse team, and Str8 has snipedown instead of neighbor and even if snipedown is as good he doesn't currently have the chemistry neighbor had with that team. FB as I see it is clearly the top team right now.

New Instinct: roy, lunchbox, soviet, walshy seem to be doing really well, but I doubt they could hold up against FB.

^^^ Thankyou... Walshy was indeed dropped because of poor play.

This is relatively old news to me, and there is already a thread similar to this.

Not nesccecarily poor play. And the fact that Gilbert Arenas (FB's Sponsor) bribed neighbor for $15000 to come play for final boss. I wouldve traded teams too.

Umm, Walshy went -250 in his KD spread against TD in a LAN party. If that isn't poor play, then I don't know what is.

But I know what you mean, he's not a bad player, just not as good as FB expects him to be coming from Halo 2. Neighbor is way better than Walshy at Halo 3, and the fact that FB didn't make top 4 in the past two tournaments doesn't help.

Oh, and FB offered Neighbor the money after they dropped Walshy, it wasn't because of offer that Walshy left. FB was looking for a fourth after dropping Walshy.
