Castlev2 (Thread) Please Rate/Download/Leave Feedback(Good/Bad/Fixes) Brief Description Castlev2 is the second version of my Castle Level The second version of Castle Made on Foundry. The is a basement leading to a stairway that re-spawns after 30 seconds. There is an armory with shotguns, turrets, snipers, etc. A 1st story, with shield door to enter through. A top floor with boxes overhead to crouch under with grenades and rockets. There is a trap next to the stairway so watch out. 0% items on this map are lop-sided. Active camo (Hard to get to) and overshield. (Simple to get to) Falling fusion coils to prevent camping. Screenshots

In addition to what Furious D said, you're "download here" link does not seem to be working. I wouldn't bother with the "rate here" and "comment here" buttons. People will do so anyway if its worthy... *edit* I just saw your reply to Furious. Noone wants a link to your screenshots. We want to see your screens embedded on the post. Like he said, click the link at the bottom of his signature.
Read the edit i made to my post above. I went ahead and looked at your screenshots anyway, and trust me. People will be mad if they have to click your link to look at your map. It's a nice little building. Probably well made. But barely a manor, let alone a castle.. And 75% of the map is empty. There is nothing that sets your building apart from the other maps posted here. You must have lots of budget left over. Throw in some scenery and cover around the rest of the map. Maybe more buildings like it... something.... anything...
Hey, no worries. We were all new at some point. What sets the better forgers apart are the ones willing to take advice from others to improve their skills (and posts). I'm still working on being a better forger myself. I'm trying out a lot of the tips in the Forging 101 section. But definitely learn to embed screens in your post first. It is vital if you want anyone to try out your creations. Cheers.
Bump?! Seriously?! Did you even read the post we told you about? I was trying to be nice before, but now its getting ridiculous. You had a chance to fix your post, but instead you decided bump it, which is also against the guidelines. I highly recommend you fix these issues before a mod comes along and locks this post. Actually, scratch that. I've looked at your map (which i don't normally do if it doesn't meet the requirements) and i think you should just ask for the post to be closed so you can finish it. Then, once you've finished the map, repost it using the proper format.
I'm sorry to say Hidden, but he is right. This is not the Bungie.Net forums. Please follow the link in Furious' Sig to learn how to embbed pics. If you would like people to comment on your map, then help them help you. You will not be banned, you are not breaking any rules. However, you will not be liked among the forums if this attitude keeps up. The guidelines exist for a reason. Please follow them. If you do fix your post, I will personally check the map out myself. If not, I will delete this thread.
Let me help you out a bit. I know you are new, and that its frustrating when people are nitpicking your post, instead of commenting about your map. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, i was trying to help you out. Let me show you how to embed a picture in your post. First, go to your screenshot gallery at Bungie.net, and click on the image you want to embed, to enlarge it. Then follow these steps: 1. Save the picture onto your computer by right clicking it and pressing "save image as", or "save picture as" (depending on your browser) and save it somewhere on your computer you can find it easily. 2. Go to: http://imageshack.us/. 3. Once there click "Browse...". 4. Search for the saved picture. It'll be where ever you saved it. 5. Double click the picture to select it. 6. Click on the the "host it!" button. 7. Scroll down to the bottom once it brings you to the next screen. 8. Copy everything in the "Hotlink for forums (1)" box. 9. Paste it in your post. The code will look like this: Code: [URL=http://imageshack.us][IMG]http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/1103/19338768mediumok1.jpg[/IMG][/URL] The above code is actually the code for your screenshot i got by following the directions above. Make sure to update your screenshots before posting, because you changed your map since you took those screens. Your screens should reflect the most current version of your map. When you paste it, and save your post, it will be embedded like this: *Note* - The current version of his map is different from this older picture. Do this for all your screens and you won't have to worry about hearing people complain about pics in this or any other forum. Cheers.
