Phylum Description: Phylum is a MLG foundry map made by me, CR0553D. What makes Phylum unique is the fact that it is technically a 9 base map. There are two large main bases on the long walls instead of on the short ones like usual. There are then 4 bases in each corner simmilar to warlock. There are another two tower bases accesed by jumping on the sides, and the final base structure is the center. in version 3.6 i completely rehauled the center, making it so you could walk underneath it, with 4 open boxes and 4 single boxes to make a Square, all of which are Geo'd neatly. I also removed the dumpsters from the sides of the large bases and replaced them with Geo'd single boxes. There is also now a jump up from front purple and front Gold. I also placed a double wall in front of the lag fence on blue side. This Map is perfect for MLG TS, MLG KoTH,MLG oddball, and MLG CTF. THIS LOOKS VERY WELL DONE... BUT I COULD HAVE SWOREN I JUST SAW THIS MAP... HMM WELL IF IT IS YOURS IT IS A VERY WELL MADE MAP WITH GOOD GEOMERGING. I REALY LIKE THE PURPLE TOWER... Hm as far as me and MLG maps go, I don't usually stray off any user made forgehub variants for various reasons such as overused base ideas boring same base to base layout and extremly horrible weapon placement - However this map stands out which is why I'm going to comment. I like that you incorperated the warlock style corner bases which is always a definate winner with an MLG styled map and I also like your extensive choice of cover that varies from Signs to walls to geomerged single boxes . Another positive aspect is that you are choosing an alternative way of forging an MLG Map whilst still containing the super competetive gameplay GJ. Your interlocking, Geomerging and from what I can see all advanced forging techniques have been performed to almost perfection. I have but one complaint with this map is your purple and gold towers, How close are they to the walls around foundry? Because they look as if they can walk around the ledges which is a major no no, I might be wrong and I hope I am so that this map can be rated 5* MLG and it really does deserve hope you can reply to this so I can rate it <3 Lots of love Chicken Dippah.
i downloaded this on the MLG forums and i went around it in forge a couple of minutes ago. its one of the best mlg maps on this site period
Finally, an actual MLG map. It gets annoyin when ppl post MLG maps that rnt even interlocked, and dont look good at all, but this is one of the best MLG maps yet.
looks like it would be a very good MLG based map, well, the structures would, nice job with the map as a whole, i dont see anything wrong in the pictures

Very nice map, the map layout is amazing that the interlocking and geo-merging are nearly flawless. Great job!
Looks great, refined structure. I love the rotation of the whole map to be wider and shorter and the differences between the "A" and "B" sides that make each side different to control, yet symetrical at the same time. Nice job, 5/5.
++++I love the center of this map. it is unique and fun to play on. --However, there is something about the floating bases above the stairs that I just dont like.
Congrats on the feature Cr055! This might be one of the only MLG maps I download lol. I really like the middle structure on the map, and the bases too, it's good it has more than one base instead of the usual red and blue becouse that doesn't always support as many people. This map plays well also and it definitely deserved the feature it got keep this up and you'll be premium before your even a guerrilla!
