BiG RockER Made By: BiG QwackER Notice:Ok, here is my first map in a while and I think this track is pretty cool and it has a very fast-paced tempo to it. Two basic notifications. The track is on Foundry and if you are a good driver, it will seem like a super short course. Features: ~ Double Wide Racing ~ Uncheatable Goal Point ~ Starting Gate ~ Gravity Assisted Turns ~ Wall Rides ~ High Speeds Description: BiG RockER starts off in a starting gate filled with eight mongeese. There are sixteen (16) starting points and respawn points alowing the maximum amount of racers. After ten (10) seconds, the starting gate comes up and the race starts. First, you go straight and make a right turn assisted by a gravity lift. Then you go down and up and make another gravity assisted turn pusing you into the destination, which is provided with man-cannons and teleporters making it uncheatable. Then you make another right turn and go straight for a little bit. Finally, you make a right turn and wall ride to the end. Each turn has a gravity lift and/or a shield door(s). Tips When Racing: Go straight at the gravity lifts to maintain speed throughout the course. Also, use the shield doors to your advantage. Gametypes: RACETRACKS - Free for all, no killing. Battle Tracks - Teams of two racing, no killing until second lap. The construction of BiG RockER took me about 11 hours and the testing took maybe an hour or two. I tried to make everything perfect the first time. What aspect took the longest to get right? Probably the starting gate because I made it at the end with little money and there was barely any space to put objects there. nice turns and all but the shield doors might make it hard for people to do the turn do to the bounce it has.
Like your other map, Carbon, this looks pretty awesome. But what happens if you fall off? Is there a teleporter to take you back up? I like the map, it's so simple, it's amazing. Great Job. I'll check it out when I have time.
Looks nice and fun but the shield doors could cause problems (as Saint Progidy mentioned). Maybe if you make a V2, replace them with bridges because the seem to not be used a lot in your track. Map: 4/5
If you happen to fall off, you will see many signs that will lead to a ramp leading back onto the racetrack. To everyone else: I placed the shield doors there to help you make the turns. If you go into the shield doors they will bounce you into the right position. I put them there for that reason. Once you play the map, you'll realize it.
It looks pretty good. The only problem I have with it is the fact that all of the double boxes aren't interlocked. 4/5
Nicely done ill Check it out. Im on your side with the shield doors. If you DON'T have them you could fall too easily
seems like a pretty good racing map, but it is also a bit messy, to be one of the top racing maps you need perfection, look to halotracks for some cool racing maps
Looks pretty well planned and produced. I also enjoy the maps where the players acculey, "race" and the track is wide enough to pass on, either then that good job 4/5
Very nice, I see some great Forging and creativity in your map. I like how you Interlocked everything so smooth.
I know you need perfection. But I really can't see how it is so messy. Anyway,I'm a MapMaker in HaloTracks so I know the do's and dont's.
Wow. 9/10 its good. like the wall ride. i didn't understand what gravity-assisted turns meant for a second....
