The Drop Zone! The Drop zone is racing to the X-treme! This is my first map posted on forge hub! This extra ordinary race track has a vertical drop, elevator, and sky tracks! This race track supports the racetracks gametype! What inspiered me: I just got home from an amusement park and roller coasters was just on my mind. I just thought of a vertical drop and took it from there. How long it took to make: Around 6 to 7 hours. Here are some pictures, hope you like it! The Spwan area. The stragitaway into the first turn Up the first ramp and into the small zigzag The first jump (make sure ur at full trottle or you will not make the jump!) The U turn Up the ramp to the top of the tower! Down The Vertical Drop! (make sure u go slow!) The Drop! This is also where the checkpoint is! The bottom of the drop The bottom of the Elevator Top of the elevator The high turn, then Down the ramp into the superjump! the super jump! In to the banked u-turn The extra wide straight away The turn into the small covered straight away turn in to the last ramp Up the ramp In to the banked U-turn which sends you back to the begining! Very nice!! The interlocking is clean and the elevator and drop are good ideas. I'm sure racers will have a lot of fun when they download. 5/5
looks like you did a very nice job with this i will have to check it out unfortunately i have seen the bridged bank turn many times, and would like to see something new also, is there a way to easily get back up on the track if you fall, it pisses me off when your screwed for the rest of the game and cant get back on the track
I don't like the wide open straight away part but other than that i think it incorporates some of the best techniques for racing.
the u banked turn thata sends you back to the beginning could use work, also the strait away could get a little confusing
dude your first map looks amazing. The turns and jumps you put in look very clean and very fun. The drop you put in, not many people do that and i thank you for doing something more less used. if this is relay your first map its an amaszing one and the post is up to standerds too. most of the time something gos wrong or, the map sucks, 4/5.
Well its not my first map i've made, i think this one was the best, i have parcticed merging before. Thank you all for the kind comments and critisism that will help me on my next map.
Qued looks good. I like the way it has good racing features suc has an 'elevator', not just constantly driving aronud.. if you get what I mean, which you probably don't XD
