I've recently forged snowbound and foundry, and i've have a similiar setup for both. In both, i have two main bases and i want teams to spawn on their own side in team slayer with two teams. In the respawn marker options it says "attacker" "defender" 3rd team" 4th team" etc...but how can i make it so just red spawns at base 1 and just blue spawn at base 2? please and thank you
I could be wrong, but I don't think the Red and Blue teams are permanently designated either Attacker and Defender. I think Bungie has geared it to make it a random thing. So, unless I'm mistaken, your best bet is to just designate each base and set up the respawn areas accordingly. You can do that by either changing every individual respawn point or you can set a respawn area, but you have to be in a specific gametype like Slayer of CTF to do that.
im not one hundred percent sure about thiss but i think the defending team is wat ever team the host is in no mater what color it is and the second team usually blue but yeah they are the atackers an so on so its not really decided by colors but what team the host is in
I don't think that is true, I believe that red is just defenders and blue is just attackers no matter in wich team the host is in. Maybe this can help you a little with placing spawns and stuff like that: Forging 101: Effective Spawn Placement
Defenders are always Red in symmetrical gametypes. Attackers are always Blue in symmetrical gametypes. I don't know what the colors are for 3rd through 8th, but I'm guessing it follows the order that you take when you change teams in the pregame lobby. The confusion about this stems from asymmetrical games where the colors switch sides after a round. But you don't need to worry about that. The game does it for you.
Green team is 3rd team in Symmetrical Gametypes Orange team is 4th team in Symmetrical Gametypes these should be right for 3 and 4 It also works on a priority system, so if there is no green team, but there are the red and blue teams, it is possible that say pink team would spawn as team 3, but if orange was playing as well as red and blue it would be: D:RED A:BLUE 3:ORANGE 4INK this may be wrong and I'll have to test it out
Actually the same remains true for assymetrical gametypes. Ever played Tremors? It's one flag and Red is always defender while blue is always attacker. There is one gametype that you will never be able to figure out that is truly random for teams (true for one sided, not sure for multi)... it is VIP. Since VIP is chosen after spawns, the teams are randomly assigned... then whichever team is on the Defender spawn points is the team with the VIP on One-Sided.
Yeah we figured that out for Boss Battle on The Final Level... asper and I weren't very happy. Originally there was going to be one boss on his own team, but then we found out teams were random. It worked out better in the end, cuz now all you have to do is create equal teams instead of one person on the other team. But it was frustrating when we first realized that VIP was random, even though assault and CTF and stuff like that weren't.
