LINK The Door Room is a small room with teleporting doors. Stepping into the leftern side of the door will teleport you to another random door in the same room. It is a small map for FFA, Ninjaball, Juggernaut, and 2v2. There are grenades placed around the map, stickies are on a 20 sec spawn and frags on a 10 sec. There is one, two clip brute shot, one BR, one AR(for ammo), and a one clip mauler. After 60 seconds a 2 clip rocket launcher will appear on the cieling. There is only one room, the doors bring you to different spots in the room For Gametypes: Base Player Traits should be 150 damage resistance. And 110% shield recharge. Oddball - Set to Ninjaball and increase the point limit Juggernaut is fine for its normal settings Suicide is -2 Enhanced Radar An Overview of the Room Without The Cieling The Bottom Floor of The Two Floor Room LINK All of my maps are unique in design. Originality is a must in a map, that combined with great aesthetics and a plan makes a map. Check out my four other maps, each of which have never been done before. So you walk into the doors and you get randomly teleported? Thats it? This map reminds me of the map Chiron TL-34 from the original halo. The general idea of the map (being randomly teleported to different rooms) is just dodgy for me. I just feel that it won't flow well and that it'll be extremely frustrating. Sorry but I won't be downloading this map. I hope that I'll want to download your next map though. Nice interlocking too!
If the you go to a random spot every time, then how would that work in oddball? You just get the ball, go through a door and wait until someone eventually takes the right teleporter and then you go through another door and it repeats. Unless each door goes to the same sport every time, I don't think this would work.
@thecheez, you mightve misunderstood it,or i explained it wrong, it doesn't teleport you to a random room, it teleports you to a random part of the a single room About Oddball, I forgot to mention that you should put the point limit up. And the way to stop the constant teleporting is to throw grenades, there is a reason why they're there. If they teleport to a door that has a sticky on it, they're pretty much guaranteed to die. It also makes it pretty chaotic. I also plan on making a v2, add an extra floor, make the second and third floor wider(sometimes when you teleport and don't realize where you are, you fall back down), making the doors at angles or on the ceiling/floor and making the receiver nodes less noticable
very nice map. it looks pretty fun 4 oddball. ill dl and play with some friends when i get back from vacation. 4/5
i would say it was more for 1 on 1 cause i onlty saw i think one or two floors and they wern't that big floors but every way this a nice map well done on that
i think you forgot to explain it fully, its one simple room guys, and there are teleporters on the outsides to make you jump all around inside that SAME room there arent a bunch of roomes,
That's different, I'll have to say, and it's very original, but it seems too simple if you know what I'm saying. It's only one room with multiple ways of getting from one side of the room to another. I may have to check it out to see the flow and everything. Great job, 4/5 from me.
Well, it seems like you made a box. Then you put an area going around made out of bridges. Then you added the doors. That doesn't seem very complex to me. Even though it's a small map, it should have cover, ramps and small platforms sticking up. It creates a better layout and gameplay.
The original idea was to just make a hallway of doors that lead to each other, like they used to do Scooby Doo, i got the idea when i was watching my little cousin. That's why it doesnt have much cover
sounds a lot liken the original halo map, which ive been meaning to make, but this is one room, so it seems like the teeporting doors wont accomplish much, the interlocking is awesome though
