Ruins 1.5 Saint Prodigy and MM Waffle's second map is entitled Ruins. This asymetric map is forged on Foundry with asthetics in mind. This map consists of many interlocked objects and some geomerged into the floor. This map is played best with Slayer and Oddball. This map is called Ruins because the map is made up of multiple Covenant Ruins. The Ruins are different Covenant buildings and structures created for their everyday lifestyle. The Ruins provide for great cover and weapon support. The story is in the description. mmm not a download for me beacause theres just a few simple structures the interlocking is top notch but it doesnt have the wow factor i look for in maps i wanna dl but keep making maps this would be the best for zombies i think.
Most of the map does look great, just the UNSC base was a real let down for me. It kinda looks like you did it at the last second. However the other side of foundry you have made it look like a ruin. If you could work on that UNSC base, I will give you thumbs up.

Everything looks great with the interlocking and all, however, there is one section of the map that flunks the expectations, the UNSC Base. I would suggest giving the UNSC Base a bit of a makeover, with more cover and better quality walls. Other than that, the map seems superb. Keep on forgin' - Floppy
No where near the best I have seen. I won't give a DL, but is better than (some) of the maps I have seen.
i like the map but i agree that the name doesn't match with some of the map it some of it doesn't look like a ruin but then some does but altogether it is a really cool map 8/10
A lot of people are disapointed with the UNSC Base. it wasnt meant to be a main feature of the map but since you guys are complaining we will work on it and make it look better.
This didn't quite catch me. I wasn't convinced enough. The interlocking you did was..no offence, sloppy. And when you are lining things up please use something grounded so your walls aren't so esque. Hope to see improvements next time! De5troy999.
This map looks ok .. The interlocking you have done are good but the map itself doesn't look fun to play on.. But i guess you can't say that until you try it ..
You locked up the warthogs =[..... It's alright but as someone else said it lacks the wow factor. Also I'de consider fixing the interlocking on the side stairs (6th picture) because the far right stairs aren't straight.
This map would be so much better if it had just a bit more detail... to many simple features, maybe make a second one with detail touch-ups but overall not a bad map

The map seems pretty good, the only thing i dislike is this photo, sometimes in a real game its hard to make it throught these small holes, if you enter the gravity lift too fast you will get pushed off center and hit the floor, basically its hard to stop in the middle of battle and try to position yourself so you can easily go through, a better idea would be to put a mancannon on the wall and have a ramp at the top, so you go in the mancannon and get pushed onto the platform |/ <---wall to push off of | ________ <--Platform | |\ <--mancannon Sorry for the rough sketch
It looks like you made very simple structures but made them very neat. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but you seem to be good enough at interlocking to create more complex structures. You should use a drawing tool like the foundry designer to draw your maps out before hand. Edit: Oh yeah read what official has to say, that gravlift thing looks really sloppy and probably wouldn't work.
Theres some simple structures but not really anything special. I really like you idea but it just needs more cover in the next version
