hello I am currently working on a remake of a map from the first Halo. I am trying to make an area of ground that has 4 double boxes in the ground half way. I can make the boxes go in the ground by doing what it tells me to do. But sometimes the boxes are uneven. Sometimes they fly out of the ground and the box comes up next to the pusher box. Is there an easy way to make an area of Double Boxes 3 by 2 in the ground? http://www.forgehub.com/home/index.php?page=134 That is the link. Anyone have any suggestions? I have been trying to do it where walls and other boxes keep it in but it never comes out right. I have 2 that are perfect and one that is slightly apart from the other 2, its not touching. If none of this made sense, Im sorry. Sorta brain dead after trying to forge a lot.

Make sure when you grab the bottom boxes that you grab them from the side and in the direct center so like:
    Code:
     ___

-
___

That should make them even and level, in theory anyway.

I have been grabing it in the middle, but the box that I am not holding spazzes out of the ground and flys somewhere. :(

Use another box to push it in the ground, then save and quit. If you let go, or try to pick up the box again, it will get pushed out of the ground. It takes a lot of trial and error to get a box in the floor and straight and even.

Yeah I have 5 out of 6 done. I knew how to do them but getting them straight was pretty annoying. Im useing a frame like thing of walls and other boxes to keep it from spazzing out of the floor.

    (yay for first post?)

Yeah, just use a few more double boxes on each side to keep it straight. I've had to do a little bit of embedding things in the map I'm working on and it seems like the best way is to just completely surround your object. Except then you can't even see it... but hey, you gotta make it interesting somehow, right?

hey, probobly not the right time to mention this but look at the single boxes side that has no eagle, the oposite side, theres a face on it if you look, looks like the thing from doom. I feel like the only one to ever notice it.
