I saw them about 2-3 years ago and it was a very fun show. I don't know how Stephen Tyler manages to play the guitar and sing with women randomly jumping on stage and attacking him continuously....that's talent there. Good to know some of my favs are up there. I'll have to look at the full song list another time.
hell no. they are not that good of a band to get an entire game all to themselfs. what they should have done is just make a brand new game with as many different bands as they could have.
Macka i would agree with you on this. Aerosmith are an alright band, like they have some good songs but they are nothing compared to other bands like metallica, sum 41 and breaking benjamin. But i am looking forward to Guitar Hero Metallica.
While I don't totally agree with the song being epic, I downloaded that song while it was available for GH3. It's too easy. I played it twice, and went back to trying to master the harder songs. Oh, and it seems that a lot of you aren't aware that GH: Aerosmith has more than just Aerosmith songs. In fact, there's only about two or three of their songs per set list, so there are more songs by other artists than there are from Aerosmith. They still hold the most songs by a single band in the game, but it's not just Aerosmith. However, I'm still not swayed into buying it, since the other songs aren't what I consider top quality, and there are not enough to qualify the $60 price tag.

NO, and we don't need any games based on a single band. Variety makes the game more fun, instead of playing songs by the same band which is boring and repetative. I can't wait for World Tour, they said there will be songs by The Doors, (hellz yeah), and they also have songs by Jimi Hendrix whoch is also win. All they need now is some good freaking Led Zeppelin songs.
Is there really a Metallica Guitar Hero on the way? I havent heard of such a thing. OMGOMGOMG, *squeals like little girl* There my favorite band since like forever!!! I really hope they put MASTER OF PUPPETS in there, and MOTORBREATH. also, Id really love a GUITAR HERO: IRON MAIDEN. That would be sooo epic.

Now you may not be a fan of Aerosmith but you can't say they aren't good enough to get an entire game to themselves, basically because like I've said in an earlier post, they most certainly deserve it. Allow me to tell you why. Since Aerosmith formed in 1970 they have compiled 25 Gold albums, 18 Platinum albums, 12 Multi-Platinum albums, 1 Diamond album, and 4 Gold singles. Not to mention 4 Grammy's and 13 Grammy nominations, 5 American music awards, and 4 Billboard music awards. Aerosmith is the second bestselling American group, with 66.5 million albums sold, second only to the Eagles. They are also the bestselling American hard rock band. Aerosmith holds the record for the most gold and multi-platinum albums for any American group. Aerosmith has the second highest number of songs for a group to peak at #1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart with nine. Only Van Halen has achieved more with 11. So I know some of you probably don't like Aerosmith for one reason or another, the most common one probably being that most of you who say they don't deserve it or don't like them aren't old enough to appreciate them. Either way, the facts speak for themselves.
Oh snap! Pwned! Very good post. You cannot argue stats folks, and there they are, in all of their glory. I didn't know the Eagles were the best selling American rock group of all time....very awesome. They're one of my favorite bands. I here that they'll be in the new and upcoming Guitar Hero game... =) It's about time.
Well aerosmith are a great band with many great hits but they aren't my favourite band .. I would love guitar hero bullet for my valentine .. I would buy that anyday
^^ I'm pretty sure they would only make a specified Guitar Hero for a good band, so dream on. I think the whole concept is stupid, they should just stick to the traditional version that has loads of different bands, because there are so many good bands to cover, and taking just one band's songs for a whole game is ridiculous, regardless of how much the band deserves it. I don't think I could play a Guitar Hero Aerosmith or Metallica or whatever for more than a week, I just think that the whole thing is a major rip-off.
I don't think the general idea of a Guitar Hero based almost entirely on one band is good in and of itself. I know Aerosmith has a few songs by other bands in there, but who wouldn't prefer another genre-specific game like Rock the 80s as opposed to Aerosmith (granted, maybe with a genre that had a little less... suck) Perhaps a game that just encapsulated all the hard rockers of Aerosmith's era would have far surpassed just Aerosmith and a few other things. I dunno, but I'm sure not blowing money on the game as it is now.
I dont think any band deserves their own guitar hero because I buy guitar hero for an assortment, not a complete set of a band's music. That is why I am so excited for GH4. =))))))))
I dont think that guitar hero series should focus on one band for each game, they should put the 5 greatest hits from each band on the setlist, so says theyres 10 different set lists, then 10 different bands, and 5 songs for each. thats how i would do it, but no i dont think aerosmith should have had a game.
i dun want to read 4 pages but..NOOOOOOOOO! they absolutely do not. omg its not even funny how many other bands are out there who are much better then them. i love Aerosmith, and yeah they go down in history, but they aren't legend or nothing. i would vouch for Metallica then them any day. but even then, just think of all the epic bands out there who would deserve it even more then them lol. but then again it isnt about deserving, its who pays for it aerosmith probably paid them to have their own game.
i don't think so, but i think the beatles do deserve there own. There are really famous and a much better band then areosmith.
