With this gametype, all players spawn above their respective flags in the base. They are located within a weapons cache that will seal itself off in 45 seconds. There are snipers, maulers, needlers, battle rifles, a brute shot, rocket launcher, shotgun, and sword as well as a weapon holder full of two of every grenade. The weapons here will never respawn again, so grab your grenades and weapons and head out of the room before it closes up. Players spawn with an assault rifle and pistol by default.

All over the map there are pieces of equipment and weapons, predominantly plasma rifles, spikers, shotguns, pistols, plasma pistols, and SMGs. Where there used to be rockets there is now a flamethrower, and where there was sword is now a fuel rod cannon. Here's the real twist in the game though...

Around each flag is two teleporter receivers. The senders for those two receivers is the jail room located above where you initially spawned. When your flag is not at home, you spawn in jail. The only way out of jail is through the teleporters. Unfortunately, the teleporters are blocked off by a crate. Luckily there are trip mines located right next to the crate, which means a teammate will have to unblock the teleporter and free you from jail. The jail room is located above your opponents flag, as are the teleporter exits. That means as soon as you are free from jail, you are in enemy territory, ready to capture the flag.

This is a picture of where you will spawn initially. Weapons from left to right are: Needler, Sniper, Sword, Sniper, Shotgun, Brute Shot. Also please take note that the weapon holder in the middle is holding two of every grenade.

And this is what happens if you remain in the room for too long. You will effectively be sealed within the room. I'm not saying it's impossible to get out, but it's not easy and it wastes precious time.

This is another view of the room. From left to right the weapons are: Battle Rifle, Needler, Mauler, Mauler, Needler, Sniper, Sword.

This is the other side of the room. From left to right the weapons are: Brute Shot, Mauler, Mauler, Rocket Launcher, Battle Rifle. There is also an overshield visible in the doorway to the right.

Coming out of the shotgun tunnels, you will see an active camo powerup, a turret, and a Spartan Laser.

In the hallway where the Rocket Launcher usually is, you will find a Flamethrower and flares.

Active camo has been removed, but there is deployable cover to the left, and shotguns and plasma rifles in the middle.

In the corner to the left there is a radar jammer, and a flare in the corner to the right.

Opposite the radar jammer and flare is another overshield.

In the corner by the lift, there is another active camo as well as there being a deployable cover where the turret used to be on the right.

Here, the regenerator has been replaced by a gravity lift. One might think something like this isn't very useful, but while I was testing the map out with some friends, I was shocked when I saw my deployable cover be blown away skywards exposing me to gunfire again.

At the entrance to the sword room, there is a power drainer and a shotgun.

The sword has been replaced by a fully loaded fuel rod cannon.

The sniper has been replaced by a gravity hammer.

Here, you can see one of the teleporter exits covered by a crate where the flag is. There is also a trip mine in front of it to help unblock the teleporter.

This is the other teleporter exit, also covered by a crate with a trip mine in place to assist the jailbreak.

This is a picture of jail. The teleporter is the only way out. While your flag is away from home, this is where you will respawn. You can kill yourself by walking away from the teleporter and standing on the cement rather than the grating. However, as long as your flag remains away, you will respawn back in there. There are two bubble shields to help if things get hot while exiting through the teleporter.

This is just a view from the initial spawn points (where the weapons cache is) above to where the jail is. The grating prevents anything from being able to kill the prisoners while they are up there (not that people should be in the weapons cache to begin with)

I guess technically it more or less is, but I've never actually downloaded or played Cell block 71. Before Bungie actually put that on the Favorites, they spoke about the idea in an update, so I went and created this. I'd say if you look at the two maps they probably execute a similar idea in different ways.

They mention as in this "user's map" repetitively in the update, that user just happens to have been me. A representative contacted me about my map about a week before that update, and they released it on BNG Favs approximately three weeks later.

This is a great idea for a map, Fusion. My only concern with this map in particular is, are there too many different weapons? I feel that the most memorable maps have just a few different weapons in carefully balanced places.

I've actually made a CTF variant on Last Resort using upturned open crates, and an Epitaph version with Slayer and CTF.

Just by looking at the screens, the map looks way too cluttered with a random assortment of weapons.

What does it matter? Did you not take the concept of zombies and create your own infections maps based on those principles. Did you or did you not make a Cat N' Mouse variant? Why didn't you mention the creators of those ideas?

You know, I kind of take offense to that. It's impossible to take all of the weapons in that room with you, so once you make a selection of two weapons, you never get another shot. I've tested the map several times, and this is the fifth or sixth version I've released, constantly refining it. The weapon placements do work, and there was absolutely thought behind all of them, not at all random.

And considering not a single person has downloaded it...well, don't knock something down that you haven't even tried.

I don't think this makes the cut. No one really wants to play on old forged maps. This idea was played and passed by last year, its time to move on to forging on the new maps. Also, yes, this is very similar to Cell Block 71, which is dated. - Brute Captain

First, I thought people posted their maps here for others to download, play, and then rate, not to read some description, look at some screenshots, read a few comments and make judgment. If I wanted that kind of treatment I'd go to the file forums at Bungie.net I thought this site was supposed to be something more.

Second, if you'd bother to look at the date it was posted, it was last year. More importantly though, who cares when a map's idea was originally conceived? You're telling me that because someone creates a map using a specific idea no one should ever use that idea because it's now dated?

You've got to be kidding me.
