.....I don't know why I'm posting when I tested in the game and gave you my opinion... BUT I am so.... It was a good map. Better than I could do....
it was a good map , but I think that it could use a bit of interlocking, just so the players dont get caught on lips and i share Titmar's sentiments about shield doors
The shield doors are my way of stoping people from shooting base to base. With no shield doors you would spawn and be able to gun down the other team using MLG/SWAT settings. Added Action shots to original post!
Yea there are lots of spots to snipe from. But not godly spots a guy with a BR could easily stop you.
I remember this, i think I played on it during a testing session... It's an amazingly fun map - I especially liked the weapon and goal placement. D/Ling
Thanks man. I think the only thing i would suggest for bomb and CTF is that the carrier is weaker or slower, Because the distance base to base can be quite short.
obviously, interlocking makes maps look nicer, but it takes so long that i don't hold it against any map, i just give bonus points to those who have it. I only really care about interlocks if, like said above, not having them causes stops and slips which detract from its playablitiy. overall, map looks nice. it felt very much like what bungie did for guardian: this map is the "spiritual successor" to midship. very good job. * queued *
I would like to remind everyone considering building a sniper tower in their map that these things are essential if you want it to accel at being a sniper tower. LoL Looks like a pretty map, but just resembles so many other maps that I have seen created in Forge. (Four Levels) to name one off the top of my head. Thats not to say it sucks, just feels like I have played it already. Very neat tho.
