Got around to playing last night, and it's definitely a good map for team slayer, or just slayer with enough people. Give it a try!
I checked your map out in Forge today. My initial problem with the map is this: there are fire grenades, and there are a lot of shield doors. I personally hate those items, i think they suck... But other than that, and perhaps going back to interlock the objects, I thought the map was very cool, and a lot better layed out than the Great Wall that everyone seems so fond of comparing it to. I look forward to playing some rounds of TS on it and seeing if it plays well also.
I thought this was an superior map, a cut above. I thought it was brilliant having the sniper and rocket spawns so close, and yet so far to get both... Don't think that the spartan laser is super applicable in a map with no vehicles, I would replace it with a Sword, but I feel that everything flows well enough. And to people who say "THERE ARE ALREADY WALLS" I say: There are already canyons with symmetrical bases at either end, supporting vehicles and having a vehicle killing weapon in the middle, but Coag and Valhalla are still both fun.
Thanks for the comments everyone! I will be going back to try and interlock some of the ramps today and will definitely consider weapon placement suggestions.
New version is up. Replaced the spartan laser with a fuel rod cannon and made a few other weapon adjustments.
Like I said, I made this before any of the other Great Wall maps came out. I just never posted it. Either way, I'll be moving on to new and better things now if no one has specific problems with the quality of construction or the balance.
