Pro-Defend Pro-Defend Description: This map is based very much on the of a small fort, It has an outer Rim of Double Boxes with open boxes on each corner, along the sides of the outer boxes are small Barriers, 4 on each side of the square, placed in strategetic sequence allowing easy shooting and good cover, yet not so much that the other teams sniper couldn't get you, this is whay the open boxes are on each corner. In the center of the fort is a small feature with a heightened indent in the middle of it, this is where the flag, the bomb and a territory will spawn, but as well as that, there is one of each powerup merged into the indent for decoration (You cannot pick them up.) Imbetween the center and the outer wall is a small pit with four stairs in it, this is where two low-on-ammo shotguns spawn every minute. The Enemy Teams- The enemy team spawns in two places on the map, there are two small bases in two corners of the map, each opposite each other, they are almost symmetrical apart from in thier two different levels. They both have the same weapons in them, one with spike grenades in and one with plasma grenades. (The fort has frag grenades) The only difference in weapons and equipment in the bases is that one has a Flare in it and one a radar jammer, which is where i got the names Yellow and Red Base. Here is the list of weapons and Equipment the entire map has- 5 Battle Rifles 4 Shotguns 4 Snipers 2 Needlers 1 Bruteshot 1 Energy Sword 6 Frag Grenades 4 Plasma Grenades 4 Spike Grenades 2 Firebomb Grenades 1 Of Each Powerup (Unaccesible) 1 Radar Jammer 1 Flare 1 Bubble Shield Now for the pictures- The Main View Of The Fort The Center of the fort with Sniper in the Background. Redbase Yellow Base The Inside Of Red Base [Edit- There are now weapon holders on top of the pallets.] And Finally The Inside Of Yellow Base This map can be used with all gametypes, yet capture the flag, One Bomb and Team slayer work best with it. Well, I hope you enjoy playing on the map, There may be editions to it and this thread but I don't think it needs any, tell me if it does. All comments are welcomed. =]
looks good. but you should use weapon holders to hold up the pallets. i found that once the pallets are destroyed, their remains are left being held ontop of the portal so people can still jump on it.
that is a nice map i like the frags on the powerups. nice interlocking and geomerging looks fun for ffa. 5/5 i think
Looks like a really progressive map! pretty good use of interlocking (when used) - not the neatest, but very good!
looks good, but you should have weapon holders or teleporters on top of the pallets as well. if someone jump on the edge, the pallets will fall the way they are
first post FTW! nice job on the first post, nicely done. You even interlocked too. Ill give this one a 5/5
love it dude i love your map but i dont really like that you used pallets i think you should put a fence wall that should work, but that just my opion, i give it 5/5 nice job.
I reeally like how you used the pallets as stairs. Next time interlock the boxes so there is no bump. Overall it is pretty good though. 4/5
now that is what I call a decent map, not featurable, but it's damn good, love the fort and the effects and details are great.
excellent job on your first map and post. very creative and well put together. 5/5. Welcome to forghub.
Wow, I love the base, and the map looks really creative. Although, I see two major flaws. (1) Pallets often times fall when jumped on unless there is a weapon holder on top. (2) The boxes going around the base aren't slightly pushed into each other, making it look less attractive, bumpy, and a spot that grenades could easily get stuck in. To merge those boxes perfectly set one to not spawn at start and put two walls at the end of the other box like this . II[ ] Then delete the wall imbetween so it's like this I [ ]. Then move the box up to the wall again like this I[ ], and then delete the wall. When the second box spawns they'll be perfectly together. By the way thankyou for posting correctly the first time. Most people just join the site without even looking at a single other person's map posts first, or don't read the rules. It gets really annoying.
crazy interlocking you have here, i think the fort might overpower a bit. I do like your map, good job, keep up the good work.
4/5 the forst is truly a sight to see... wonderfully interlocked, yet the rest of the map just can't keep up with that fort. It is still nicely done map.
