Inhibition (Incomplete) Created by Ace Of Light I have a problem- I have created a good map start, but I don't know what to do with the rest of this big empty room we call foundry. I have created the middle of the map- I want it to be a symmetrical map, but support all gametypes using object's symmetry options. I just don't know what to put on each side of the center structure >_< I was thinking some kind of big, circular room or a winding rivier path (using shield doors as water, of course). Whatever it is I want it to transform foundry, so that you can't see much of the regular big foundry room anymore- I want it to feel like you aren't even on foundry, ya know? Anyway, I'd REALLY appreciate input from anyone who can suggest something. Also note that the weapons currently placed are NOT final, they will be changed- I just put them there for no real reason. _________________________________________________ A general view of what I've made Red side, placement of spartan laser and a mauler (not final) Inside view of the center structure's curved ceiling When this pallet is broken, I want SOMETHING to fall down. Fusion coils "protect" maulers- mainly used in FFA games. _________________________________________________ Thank you for any feedback, I really want to get this map done but I have no clue where to go from here. I hate creative blocks.
Wow thats some slope! The map so far looks great mabey you should make it for doubles or make it like Reflex or Flux where a lot of Foundry is blocked off. Next time try and think your maps through. If you need any help or more ideas, my gamertag is GD BlueDevil. Please send me a friend request.
You could slope off either side with double/single boxes to have the same skin as the top of the centre structure to make it a small tactical map that kind of looks like the inside of an Anderson Shelter from WW2. If you used other aesthetic touches aswell this would look even better and by the way you've gotten off to a great start.
Thank you all! I really appreciate the input. Yes, I should have thought it through more, but I wasn't really planning anything- I just had a sudden burst of creativity and made this. Unfortunately, I used a lot of resources in the curved ceiling. But yeah, I'll definitely look at some of your ideas.
