Precinct Download Here In this map the warehouse has been broken apart and divided into three different rooms (The Maze, The Tower, and The Big Room) and two bases. The rooms are completely inaccessible from one another expect through the use of teleporters. All the teleporters are set to the same channel so players will be randomly sent to other teleporters in a different room or can be sent back into the same room. The Red and Blue Bases are perfectly symmetrical. Each has two two-teleporters (one in the front and one in the back hallway), a pier-like structure coming off the platform, and a shield door over the gap in the locker room by the stairs. The Maze room has three two-way teleporters through out. It has lots of corners and walls to help surprise and catch people off guard. The Tower room has one two-way, one sender, and two receiver teleporters. A two story structure in the corner can be easily climbed and provides a better vantage point for players to see the rest of the map. The Big Room is twice the size of the other rooms and has one sender and five receiver teleporters. All of the receivers are on the floor of the room while the sender is in the center of a series of bridges. Players must go up the stairs and walk along the catwalk to the teleporter. One of the receivers is located under a fence box trapping the player in a cage. He can either stay and fight until he is out of ammo or commit suicide for a faster way out. Yes, it sucks, but that's part of the fun. Between the Big Room and the other two is a hallway. It has one sender and one receiver teleporter at opposite ends. In the middle of The Corridor is a single rocket launcher. This map was set up for all gametypes. I would recommend Slayer and Infection games mostly. I was surprised to find a game of Mad Dash was very fun too. Objective based games like Assault and CTF work on this map but can get somewhat frustrating. I would strongly discourage one-sided games. I made this map to be chaotic, random, and infuriating. It's not supposed to be the most serious of maps. If you play with this mind set, you're going to have an awesome time. Nice pics. Everything looks nice and clean. Foundry doesn't always have to be a "let's see how much crap we can cram in here" map. I'll have to check it out.
The imfamous teleporter to empty cage has been done an infinate number of times. Some areas of this map look nice and clean though so I commend you for that. Nice work.
Well, I checked it, and the only flaw I can see is with the random teleporters. All of the pieces of map are good enough, simple and clean, and I can't argue with the weapon spawns. But srsly, random teleporters in a competitive map? And a teleporter into an inescapable room? Maybe on a casual map, but I feel that it destroys strategy to do random teles.
The teleporters can destroy strategy, but I thought of this as more of a FFA map. I couldn't decide where to post, so it was kind of a toss up between Competitive and Casual Maps. I went ahead and posted to Competitive Maps because it doesn't have a specific game to play on it and supports all gametypes.
