Not so! In spiderman 3 it was:
Goblin +Sandman + Venom + emo spiderman + darth Vader= a good movie (without vader)

To me, she was ABSOLUTELY unbearable, but it was overshadowed by the other actors' performances. It was the only negative from the movie. The directing, the plot twists, the visuals, the action, the subtle humor, and the actors (Bale, Eckhart, Caine, Oldman, Freeman) were all amazing.

If you thought Batman Begins was awesome, which I thought was a mediocre super hero flick, this movie is leagues better.

Ledger's performance truly is one of those "you have to see it to believe it" performances. If I wasn't told he was The Joker before the movie, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was him. His performance is/is going to be so legendary because he creates a new personality around The Joker instead of making The Joker adjust to his personality like Nicholson did. He definitely went out with a bang, and I would be shocked if he doesn't win a posthumous Oscar.

    Quoted for ****ing truth.

This is now one of my favorite movies, Heath ledger did and amazing job. I'm just annoyed that the IMAX tickets were all sold out... I'm going to see it in IMAX in a few weeks.

My favorite parts by far was the 'magic trick', and last bit of the <snip :D> scene... For obvious reasons.

The magic trick completely sold me on Ledger as the joker and it just got better from there. By far the best superhero film to date.

Well, I saw it today, and it was great. It was long without feeling too long, and had me on the edge of me seat throughout, and amazed. Heath Ledger did an amazing job as the joker. He was the perfect representation of chaos, and he had the twisted humor that was even darker than the original films.

    Possible mild-ish spoiler whited out.
And his statements, actually, most of them in the film, like "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yoruself become the villian."

And ya, the "Magic Trick" was hillarious, and had the whole audience laughing.

    Very true.

I'm not sure if a lot of people are aware of the Spoilers thread

    Got em.

However a simple reference to 'The magic trick' isn't really a spoiler, and if it is then the Op is guilty of posting a spoiler also.

Ok, I would like to ask you guys something. I am not seeing it until Monday, just for crowd purposes. But I am dying to see this movie. I can watch it online at some sites that are safe, or just wait it out for 2 more days. What would you guys do?

Wait, it'd be such a better experience to see it in the cinemas.

Sorry about that. I didn't think it would spoil the movie because it really has nothing to do with the plot at all. Even though the title says no spoilers, who would go into a discussion of a movie because they can't contribute at all. The only thing someone could take away from a thread like this before seeing a movie is if it is good or not, but that is what the critics are for.

Also, the batman with Nicholson as The Joker is on ABC family if anyone is interested in comparing Ledger and him.

I saw it Friday night, and some buddies and I talked about it for a couple hours (a bunch of guys sitting around talking about a movie is not something that happens everyday). After talking about it, I wanted to see it again that same night, but it was too early in the morning. I think that I am going to check out the IMAX version tomorrow to see if there is a difference, and I have never watched a movie in theater twice. Has anyone seen it at an IMAX? Is there a noticeable difference?

My aunt works at the head office of a movie theater here in Canada, and she had said that they predict the launch weekend of this movie to outdo the recently big outdo's by halo and GTA. Must be that good..gotta convince my GF to go see it:( Maybe I'll wait for the drive-in.

a simple reference to the "magic trick" does not bother me. Someone posted what that "trick" was, and to me, that wouldve taken all the excitement and surprise out of my favorite part of the film.

anyways, im not a batman fan, and i LOVED this movie very very much. Go see it.
