Now I am in preparation of making my map, but I want to know, do most forgers use the budget glitch? I am asking this because I am not too fond of it and I don't really know what to do to make it happen, or is there a pre-made map that is empty but already has the glitch into effect? Please let me know!! I want to get the best out of my map and it will contain many advanced styles with interlocking and all that! Thank you!
Budget Glitch just means that we can build our maps bigger. If you dont need it, dont use it, because it can screw up occassionally. You can get a pre-glitched map in the main Maps section. http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-forge-maps/2493-all-money-glitched-maps.html here it is.
Big in terms of how? if i make my map, and it comes to be that i need the glitch to work, can i still put it into effect even if i am in the middle of designing the map?
If you've really planned your map out, then I'd reccommend the Budget Glitch. It isnt neccessary for a great map though, its just another helpful technique to forging.
Ah yeah but I heard it can sometimes screw up? Is the consequence anything terrible for the map or can it be resolved?
Freeze, lag, random objects disappear, you cant use objects if you accidentally delete em. You can start it later too, just look for some tutorials, their around.
Try Foundry Designer. If you leave off the Budget Glitch option, you can 'create' your map and see if you have enough money. http://www.forgehub.com/forum/foundryDesigner.php
yeah i tried that out, and its working alright for me...my map is coming along pretty well (i would say) so hopefully i'll get it done over the next few days.
