This map started as a model of my friends house, but when I was done and still had a huge budget, I turned it into a highly team based SWAT map. The game type is a little confusing(mainly in the scoring system) but as long as it's team swat with smgs and magnums as starting weapons, it will be fun. The map can be found here. And no, I can't publish the map on the bungie forums because xbox.com won't let me link my GT. http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx?gamertag=Jibble Sandwich The front off the defence base. The back door. The front of the offence base. It may look unbalanced: one team spawns in a huge building, the other behind a few barriers. But there is plenty of cover and more BRs on the offence side. They also get deployable cover, use it as a shield......... not like that. The third floor sniper. But watch out, the other team has one too. Clever use of the gav lift will score you an awesome vantage point. Looks good to me. My only concern would be the Warthog which may be a factor of domination. Looks good though, so nice work.
Trust me, between the grenades, rockets, BRs, turrets, invisibility, and even the magnums, the warthog is nothing more than a piece of scenery.
The camo is hard to get without getting killed and has a very long respawn time. The offence team has mongooses for quick access to the back door. And I don't like to limit people. If they really want the warthog, they can have it. They just won't last long. Anyway, I have some pics of the building layout. The basement/garrage/1st floor. The second floor. And the third floor. I couldn't get a very good angle though. While I was doing this, I also got a nice view of the offence base.
Hmm, my only concern would be the spawn points for the team (attackers?) that don't have the building...most of them (from what I can see) are kind of crammed behind a few barricades, perhaps easy to spawn camp. But then again, I haven't actually looked at the map yet other than the screenshots, so I may be wrong. The building looks pretty cool. Downloading now...
Yeah, the spawns can be camped. But the map is very fast paced. So as long as the game is at least 3 vs. 3, the defence team would have to completely dominate to get the chance to spawn camp. And sorry the the outrageous size of those pics. I don't know why they did that.
