I think a recreation of Scouts Knives from CS would be awesome. I'm sure it's doable on foundry. The Sniper Rifle and Sword could be the starting weapons with low gravity. Best CS game ever.
All right, I might work on it sometime this week if I have any time. The only problem I foresee is having trouble completely concealing the map so people can't just jump out. It's a pretty basic concept though.
Scoutzknives is named after the two CS items that you spawn with in the gametype - A Scout [Sniper] and a Knife [..you should know what a knife is.] I thought about recreating Scoutzknives and fy_iceworld, but eh, I went against it since I was also too ..lazy, I guess. It's really nice to see someone motivated to actually make it. And I'm not sure what you would substitute a Knife to be, but I'd think a gravity hammer or mauler or something? Sword would be extremely cheap, although its the logical "knife". Shotgun would work, but then its basically shotty-snipers with low gravity. <_<
sounds good but the hills or rather floating bridges will be very hard to make becaus there will have to be lots of them in order to be a succsesfull scouts map. :squirrel_jaffa:
maybe if it was slayer, you could make it so everyone was on the same team, that way the people can't lunge, and it would take more skill
Then the sword would be pointless... I guess the gravity hammer would work best since you can't lunge with it and I think people would still be able to snipe you without too much trouble.
