Call of duty 4 beats halo 3?!? Oh..my...God...

Yea, I just saw it.

I got tired of COD4 about a month ago. As far as matchmaking goes, I'd say it's better than Halo, but Halo is much more fun as far as customization goes (ex. Forge), and that's why I play it more now.

 

COD 4 is only fun for awhile then youll go back to having FUN forging in halo.

 

I was very surprised by this news this morning when I woke up. Like you guys said, CoD4 has better matchmaking, but it gets a little boring after a while.

 

COD is kinda dumb. It has great Gameplay, but not alot of customizable features... I LIKE customizavle features.

 

Humans vs. Aliens > Humans vs. Humans
I mean seriously, why would we fight ourselves?

 

COD4 is better for runnning around and killing things, Halo has Forge ..... I'd rather play COD4 online anyway.

 

Whatever. I'll play both games without holding a grudge against either.

i didn't realize that gears was still so popular...i only have like 1 friend playing at a time
and i play CoD4 more than Halo 3

 

I think that COD is more fun to play if you don't have a party or friends, but even with one other dude halo is more fun as a group.

 

Call of Duty 4 has fantastic and addiciting multiplayer. It's leveling system is much better than that of Halo's. In the long run though, Forge and Infection bring me back to Halo.

 

My friend plays Call of Duty 4 and has been trying to get me to play. There's a reason I don't want to switch. Yeah, CoD4 beats Halo 3 now, but even then Customizability FTW!!!! Forge, Custom Games, Theatre Clips? How much more customizable can you get?

 

i like both, but COD4 is better with matchmaking...

 

I honestly think CoD4's matchmaking sucks. They put all levels together so it ends up a level 1 person against a level 55 that has perks and better weapons. It's ridiculous. I do like how people tend to stay in the same group though.

 

Better leveling system?!? In COD you can get to the highest rank in a matter of days and still be an utter noob. Just by playing it loads people will think that you're good. You can even get xp when you fail miserably and score no kills whatsoever. I am by no means saying halo's levelling system is perfect, but it much better than COD's.

 

i couldnt help but quote this, COD4 has a lot of customization and rpg elements to the online gameplay. All of the special abilities and custom weapon sets you can have (martydom, last stand, etc) is great.

i wouldn't use lack of customization against COD4
